Single speed light in 36" octobox. Triggered remotely.

 

Never having seen Love-In-a-Mist flowers before, I was startled by my first encounter with this incredibly structured flower.

 

Nigella damascena, also known as devil in the bush, is a member of the buttercup family Ranunculaceae.

Most of my photos are taken in and around the city of Molde, in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway.

This one was taken is not far from the city limits.

 

Tussilago farfara, commonly known as coltsfoot, is a plant in the groundsel tribe in the daisy family Asteraceae, native to Europe and parts of western and central Asia. The name "tussilago" is derived from the Latin tussis, meaning cough, and ago, meaning to cast or to act on.

When the weather forecast announces freezing rain, it seems only natural to find sun or sunflowers for a bit of respite.

If you look closely, you can see the profile of a woman's face on a flower bud.

Looking inside a tulip, on a sunny day, not today lol.

The chive is in flower again, but this is from last year.
