Just playing around my my Tamron SP90 macro lens in the garden .Not sure what this flower is, but I'm sure a Flickr horticulturist will know this specimen.

Two shots focus stacked, the detail in the middle of this flower caught my eye. This flower was approximately 2" in diameter.

Thanks to Carol_Malky I now know that it's a Vinca flower.

From my mother's backyard

This is the first time it has ever flowered in the 7 years of residence in our garden.

What marvels...truly an Easter miracle!! We're flabbergasted and overjoyed! :D

第一次嘗試超微距,這朵小花的大小小於 1cm,利用倒接的方式配上蛇腹讓放大倍率夠大,並且景深勉強還夠

Dont remember wat this plant is called in English. In Tamil, its called 'thotta chinungi'.

The leaves of this plant, (the ones u see at the bottom right corner) respond to stimuli. If you try touching it, they fold themselves among the midrib..

One very common, yet spectacular plant, I'd say!

That's my balcony, quite frankly.
