Unfortunately I was using my macro lens today so the curious sea lions chewing my flippers and nuzzling my camera were more of a nuisance than a photo op. These three shots are of the same young individual. I'm really happy with the detail of the iris that the macro captured!

Интересно, понимает ли кузнечик всю опасность ситуации?) думаю, нет! Вряд ли он знаком с пауками...у таких как он, подобные знакомства случаются лишь раз в жизни...паук, что поджидает добычу - это Паук-оса (Argiope bruennichi). Чуть позже опубликую крупное его фото, сразу станет понятно, почему его осой называют:)

Although the park was officially closed, I took a walk along the bottom trail to discover a few inch high plants already fully green in bud, or already in bloom...once macro captured, the display a beauty similar to those at a larger scale we are familiar with.
