Here's the latest update on my Chilean Lantern Tree. It looks to be one of the best shows it's had in many a year. (Tricuspidaria hookerianum)
I love the way the light falls on the fern leaves in this shot. For me, it just highlights the beauty of nature.

Yet another shot from my garden. have a few types of ferns growing. I don't know their individual types or names. Quite fascinating to to grab a shot of the fern emerging and what looks like fine white hair type follicles giving coverage.

Apidae is the largest family within the superfamily Apoidea, containing at least 5700 species of bees. The family includes some of the most commonly seen bees, including bumblebees and honey bees, but also includes stingless bees (also used for honey production), carpenter bees, orchid bees, cuckoo bees, and a number of other less widely known groups.
Many are valuable pollinators in natural habitats and for agricultural crops. In addition to its historical classification (honey bees, bumble bees, stingless bees and orchid bees), the family Apidae presently includes all the genera formerly placed in the families Anthophoridae and Ctenoplectridae. Although the most visible members of Apidae are social, the vast majority of apid bees are solitary, including a number of cleptoparasitic species.

While at NT Clumber Park, this arachnid was in my peripheral view, I scurried across and grabbed a couple of shots.
Moments later it scuttled away.
... Spiders (animals) only have two main body parts while insects have three main body parts.
From the dormant state, new growth begins to break through. Capturing those tentative moments. Even Nature of an every day nature is fascinating.
For some reason on my visit to Arnot Hill Park, there were tethered rope strategically placed in the lake. It was becoming a little discoloured and frayed. Throw in the angled reflection and the mundane has some kind of appeal.

Chilean Lantern Tree (Crinodendron hookerianum) also known as "Ada Hoffmann". They just get better and better, each year. Judging by the amount now budding, the tree (shrub) is gonna be marvelous in full bloom.

I love taking photos of rain droplets on little moss plants, or other tiny plants. You never know what the camera will reflect and magnify, and I do enjoy opening the pictures in the computer to see what's there. Often the detail has been so tiny, I've been unable to see it with my eyes.
A short time ago I uploaded this plant just as it was bursting through its thin skin, Wow! take a look at it now. Various Bees are frantically pollinating.
Nectaroscordum (Allium).
Alliums are part of the onion family. They bloom with bell-shaped flowers offering reddish-purple markings as you can see. Known as the Honey Garlic, Sicilian Honey Lily, Sicilian Honey Garlic, or Mediterranean Bells, is a European and Turkish species of plants genus Allium. It is native to the regions around the Mediterranean and Black Seas, and grown in other regions as an ornamental and as a culinary herb.
