Hay detalles que si no es por medio de la fotografía macro, uno nunca percibiría, como la singular forma del dedo de este pequeño Geko, que muy bien son llamados lagartos escamosos, y su particular uña.

El geko es un lagarto pertenciente al grupo de los gekónidos, que han sabido adaptarse en los últimos 40 años a los ambientes humanos, y es popular en muchísimas ciudades del mundo.

Son capaces de emitir sonidos y son de los pocos lagartos con capacidad auditiva.

También se caracterizan por poseer en las patas unas almohadillas adhesivas que se adhieren a todas las superficies. Estas almohadillas están altamente divididas y forman setas que les permiten ajustarse a las imperfecciones. Están siendo estudidados para aprovechar esta nanotecnología en materiales adherentes nuevos.

Tienen una pupila vertical que les da una adecuada visión crepuscular y nocturna, que utilizan para capturar los insectos de los cuales se alimentan.

There are details that if not through macro photography, you never perceive, like the unique shape of this little finger of Geko, which very well are called scaly lizards, and particular nail.

 

The gecko lizard is a group within membership of the gecko, who have adapted over the past 40 years to human environments, and is popular in many cities worldwide.

Backyard delights.. I know it's a middle of winter, but I am so starved of color that I am going to completely ignore that fact and look at my stores of summer macros. So much great colors there!!! It is such a wonderful thing to see all those glorious creations of mother Nature surrounded by sunlight.. No snow on these pictures ;D
