A 2-8-0 Consolidation type steam locomotive built in 1906 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works originally as 1709. One of 25 C-4 class engines, the locomotive served of CofG up until the end of steam on the CofG in 1959, and has been on static display in Central City Park ever since. Several attempts have been made to restore the engine to operation, with one technically in the works now, but little progress has been made. 4-8-18
The Class-Unit SD33ECO, a rebuild of former NW SD40 1613, and a RPU6D Slug rebuilt using a former MoPac SD40-2. The SD33ECO is a series of 9 (so far) locomotives designed for local and yard work and to meet EPA Tier 3 emissions for nonroad diesel engines. 3-16-18

This is a crop from the scan of an old film photo I took in December of 2000. Donna and I had taken a very short in-state vacation that included a stop at NU WAY for their iconic wieners. A week ago I uploaded this photo. Today, on January 10th, I uploaded it to Aviary and used a filter of theirs and made other adjustments in order to make in look as old as it actually is.
