CD got stuck and I have to install 2 gigs of ram soon so nothing to do but to pry it open.
Note to myself: Do not load a cheap cd cd-r into a slot loading drive.
In case your were curious, storage for the media server is only 3.5 TB at this time - hope to be able to build a raid system for increased storage, redundancy and performance some day :-)

yesterday my papa got his father’s day gift fully installed, up and running.
he is now using a mac mini, connected to his obnoxiously sized television (the poor man is nearly blind), complete with airport express, wireless keyboard and mouse.
+ my family = love and happiness
The new toy for November and December 2012 - no more toys for me this year ;)
I had not expected to be forced to buy a new computer right now, but my old Win-PC gave up (crashed) a week ago. I just can't live without a working computer as I take so many digital photos.
Fortunately enough; I have a fairly new 24" Full-HD LED screen and almost an new keyboard and mouse. The Mac Magic Mouse and their wireless keyboard are rather pricey IMO -
perhaps I will buy them eventually...
Yet another angle of my macmini 1.5 Ghz Intel Core Solo on top. Iomega 250 GB external harddisk in the middle and LaCie cd/dvd writer on the bottom.
The Mac Mini is from the church, i think the wimpy 32mb graphics card went out.Good time for a Mac Pro Upgrade :-)
