Having seen the projectM visualisation on a friends Linux computer I had to get it for Mac Mini. Sadly all it displays is 2 waveform lines on the left hand , no other variations occur :(

If I keep things this way, and I probably will, I will get a smaller table for the computer gear or put the mini inside the TV stand.

This screenshot of a VNC connection is even more complex as the recursion was 2 fold. Bear with me while I explain. First VNC connection is made from Mac Mini to FC3. Within this an Xnest window was created, which inside ran a VNC connection onto itelf (FC3). Then within this VNC connection from the FC3 I created a VNC back to the Mac Mini.

Set up took a total of 5 minutes. Plopped the MacMini on the shelf, plugged it into the power, plugged the HDMI cable into the back of the TV and we're done! Bluetooth keyboard and mouse connected in seconds.
I made a few changes to the desk.
The Desktop is from; www.bartelme.at/journal/archive/flow_wallpaper
#UPDATE: The laptop has been moved off the desk , it made the desk look a mess and I don't use windows very much.

This is my new baby, a Mac mini! It is less than 8-inches square and only 1-1/2 inches high but I did not have room for it on my desk. Now that all the agony is over I think that I could have used the top of it for a mouse pad; it would have fit where i run my mouse. The case is CNC machined from a solid aluminum billet and inside is a whole bunch of stuff.
I have been thinking, planning, rearranging, and pulling wires for several days trying to get this little thing hooked up with a minimum of wires and cables showing. I can now see the futility in that.
Intel Mac mini on the left, G4 Mac mini on the right. Sort of reminds me of the old Apple][ setups with the double floppy drive setup under the monitor.
Home Office/Setup Evolution.
I have been working from home now for over a year and needs/requirements have changed. Like many other people, I was made redundant in 2020. I was lucky to find another job fairly quickly hence the update.
Mac Mini 2020 (2018) for personal use, connected to a eGPU to drive the triple screen setup.
Dell Latitude connected to a Dell D6000 dock driving the displays, LAN and other peripherals for work use.
Some of the kit has been supplied by my employer.
My modern Macs, except for the powerbooks the rest have followed a normal end of life reposition.
There are some Apple classic and an Apple II who aren't on the shoot and of course the apple tv, airport and ipods doesn't have much to do here.
