This is a classic fifties television, we removed the tube and other stuff, and replaced it all with a MacMini and a 19" screen. The software running on the Mac is Joost.
Bender got a new toy today. :) Right out of the box, it's four times as fast as my long-suffering G3 Tower.
I purchased an M4 Mac mini Pro in April. The shipping carton was designed so that when you opened the top lid, the sides spread out in all directions to reveal the product inside. It was kind of cute, like opening a present.
My poor old laptop finally coughed it's last and the HD died.
Luckily everything was backed up and it's all on my new Mac Mini (that little silver/white box just behind the screen on the left). I also have a new screen, keyboard and mouse.
Soon to become an XP IE test machine. Update: 45 Security updates later - it's now running Windoze XP SP2 using Parallels.
Half the joy of Mac products is the packaging. Like a 3 year old. I derive as much fun from the box as anything else...

With dual core mac minis, what's going to happen to the G5 Towers? (Spotted on Worth1000.com) Read on here...
Wet dog. First real test in Photoshop CS5. My stock MacMini had no problem with my "cleaning the caulk".
Strangely he would not look at my camera.

here's a proper screenshot of MacOS 10.4 working in portrait mode. You can almost see all its apps in one list!
The Mac Mini is such an obvious tool for kiosks and arrivals boards and the like; it's small, quiet, reliable, cheap, can be wall-mounted and has DVI output. I'm amazed that the rotate screen option is hidden, and probably missing completely in later versions of OS 10.4.
