Based around a WRAP/m0n0wall router and a mac mini server

The transformer is almost as big as the unit itself! No wonder it's so small, the bulky bit is outside!

Specification: 1.5 GHz Core Solo, 1024 MB RAM, 60 GB HD and Superdrive.

Description: My Mac mini arrived prior the weekend so I got some time to play around with it before putting anything useful on it. So I installed Windows XP. I had some trouble making the XP boot stream CD, since I don't have access to Windows equipped PC with required software for the process. The driver support was also difficult. Without tutorials and tips in the forums at onmac.net this wouldn't been worth the time and effort, so kudos to them. Regarding WOW it runs times better in Windows still. The Mac port is probably just not optimized for this kind of video hardware yet. Haven't decided if I keep the Windows partition in the future since I run out of space quickly with only 60 GB.

What a magic little box I have here. <3

This is an improvement of my previous G4 mini cube holder.

I used tips and techniques the I picked up at Spikenzie Lab's Laser How-To

They have a mini-cuts service that I would try out if I didn't have my own laser cutter.

The cables coming from a G4 Mac Mini introduced at MacWorld 2005.

My Mini's. My older Mini is running Ubuntu

Went to maplin, cheapest USB keyboard was more than £20

Went to currys, same deal.

Went to Micro anvika, same deal.

Was walking to PC world when a tiny little no name computer components store caught my eye tucked out of the way.

"Cheapest USB keyboard" I said.

"£9.99!" he said

"It work with a mac?" I said

"Can't guarantee it" He said

"Good enough for me" I said

For the record it seems to be working fine.

SO FUCK YOU CHAIN STORES, FUCK YOU IN THE EYE.

This would do nicely, especially for a living room setup/setting.

suuuuure. I'm joking. yay itunes.

I like Apple........

The two fronts are basically the same

After the infamous Microsoft Re-Designs the Ipod Packaging video, we were intrigued by the evolution of the Mac Mini packaging when we unpacked a new Intel Mac Mini and compared the packaging to a G4 Mac Mini. Is it an Intel thing?

No os podéis imaginar lo que significa poder jugar al Quake III en la tele nueva usando el teclado y el Mighty Mouse inalámbricos con el Mac mini...

You can read the story that accompanies these images at www.macvroom.com/Macd-Ride-2006-BMW-325.

It's not done yet, it's still ugly. Needs to be repainted, and "decorded". Suggest paint colours to me. Going to make a huge IKEA trip this summer, and IKEA up this space.

Mac Mini upgrade to 4GB of RAM. Taped bottom of chassis to prevent scratching while prying the lid off.

My (former) PC screen looked like this once our Mac Mini had loaded up for the first time. Boy, that was easy.

When the husband bought this new Mac mini for his folks he also purchased the extended three year support plan...so he'll no longer have to do tech support for his Dad (who calls at least once a week). It was an extra $150, but we figure, hey, that's less than a dollar a week.

… The immortal Philip K. Dick asked a much more philosophical question.

(What does an "electric sheep" look like, anyway?)
