I ordered my Mac mini straight after the MWSF 2005 Keynote and took these photos of the unpacking when it arrived a few weeks later.
The new Mac mini is sitting on top of a 500GB Mini Pal (which are both sitting on top of the Xbox 360). They are flanked by two Buffalo DiskStation 1TB enclosures.
Man, fuckin' Ken Rockwell is always talking about how much better Film is from Digital, and one of the reasons he gives is that with film you don't have to spend all of that time copying files and whatnot.
I've spent the last week or so making sure all of my film pictures were properly sleeved and trying to figure out the order I shot them in, and I've finally got everything ready but have found out that I'm out of space in my film storage binders.
So basically, my point is this: Fuck Ken Rockwell, fuck him up his stupid digital-hating ass. He is wrong and dumb and just keeps getting wronger and dumber by the day.

After the infamous Microsoft Re-Designs the Ipod Packaging video, we were intrigued by the evolution of the Mac Mini packaging when we unpacked a new Intel Mac Mini and compared the packaging to a G4 Mac Mini. Is it an Intel thing?

This is a classic fifties television, we removed the tube and other stuff, and replaced it all with a MacMini and a 19" screen. The software running on the Mac is Joost.
