One of the most amazing buildings I've ever seen in LEGO, Romão Santos' Cathedral of St Macário. Not a replica of a real cathedral, but inspired by many different ones, it took him three years to complete and is incredibly detailed. Absolutely unbelievable.

Was very surprised but delighted to see this rare classic immaculate Mitsubishi at a premier Exotic Car Dealer Joe Macari in London. UK spec means this Mitsubishi has no air-conditioning from the factory, and is equipped with simple ventilation switches. Similar Starion in the US has more sophisticated touch screen / pictogram climate control.

The Mitsubishi Starion is deemed one of the founding cars in the modern Japanese turbocharged sportscar era and is also a pioneering model due to its early usage of electronic fuel injection.

One of the key variants in the Starion line-up was that of narrow and 'wide' body examples, the latter being a more high performance vehicle complete with watercooling and subsequently significantly increased power.

This Right Hand Drive example has covered just under 80,000 miles from new and was originally registered in May 1989. Finished in the classic combination of White over Black, the condition of the car is fantastic, both in terms of paint, bodywork, interior and the all important mechanicals.

The car has recently enjoyed a thorough preparation, including a full refurb of the wheels to complement the exceptional condition of the car, as already stated. UK registered, this is a fine example of an increasingly rare and desirable 80s hot hatch; not only a car fantastic to own and drive, but one with a strong future ahead.

O sei? Preferisco non appurare. L' età dei cani fa paura. Vivono troppo poco. Vivono troppo meno di noi. Siamo costretti a vederli morire.

Summary

A beautiful Red over Black example of Alfa Romeo's Giulietta Spider.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta was a family of cars built by Alfa Romeo from 1954 to 1965 which included a 2+2 coupe, a 4-door saloon, estate, spider, Sprint and Sprint Speciale. During its production run 177,690 Giuliettas were built before it was succeeded by the Giulia in 1962.

The first example to be introduced was the Giulietta Sprint 2+2 Coupe that debuted at the 1954 Turin Motor Show. Designed by Franco Scaglione at Bertone, the car was produced at the coachbuilders Grugliasco plant near Turin. The following year the Sprint was joined by the 4-door saloon before the introduction of a two-seat Giulietta Spider featuring bodywork by Pininfarina. A facelifted version of the Berlina was produced in 1959; this featured a repositioned fuel pump and fuel door as well as a revised front end, recessed headlights, new grilles with chrome frames and two horizontal bars.

This car is equipped with the 80bhp 1,290 cubic centimetre DOHC four-cylinder engine with a light alloy block and hemispherical cylinder head. Power is transferred to the wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission, while hydraulic drum brakes and worm-and-sector were responsible for stopping and turning respectively.

The car underwent restoration in the years prior to 2009, at which point the previous owner took ownership and put less than 1,000 miles on it following its full mechanical and body rebuild. Work carried out during the middle of 2017 included new door seals, new battery, installation of hand throttle and choke cables, replaced clutch release bearing, check and adjust ignition timing, geometry tuning, handbrake system overhaul, new brake master cylinder, new washer fluid bag, pump and cap, new inlet manifold gaskets and replaced fuel filter.

All this to say that this example is one of the finest driving examples available anywhere today, one of Alfa Romeo's purest driving experiences!

The Lamborghini LM002 is both a contradiction of tradition and a key pillar of Lamborghini design as it continued henceforth.

At a time when Lamborghini was largely renowned for its Grand Tourers and Sports cars, the LM002 and its SUV design was a huge departure for the company; although having its roots in Tractor design a Utility Vehicle was something Lamborghini was infinitely more adequately equipped to conceive and realise than any of its sports car manufacturing rivals.

The vehicle's design process began with designing a military vehicle prototype in 1977, codenamed "Cheetah" and featured a rear mounted Chrysler V8. No interest was garnered and the prototype was then sold to Teledyne Continental Motors. Following this Lamborghini designed the LM001, which was a more road focused iteration of the Cheetah and still featured the same rear mounted V8 as was found in the cheetah.

It was then decided that the rear mounted engine created a number of handling characteristics that were unfavourable in an off-road focused vehicle, thus birthing the LMA002 which featured an entirely new chassis as well as a Front-Mounted V12 straight from a Lamborghini Countach. Eventually this prototype was given a serial number and saw the creation of the first example of the LM002.

Unveiled at the 1986 Brussels Auto Show, the production version featured a luxurious interior complete with leather trim, power windows, air-con and a roof mounted stereo unit.

During the 1986-1993 production run, a mere 328 examples were produced.

The example we have for sale was produced in 1990 and is finished in a stunning Black over Red colourway. The car underwent just under £30,000 worth of maintenance, major servicing and upgrading - including belts, gaskets, winch installation, brakes, an exhaust overhaul and - most crucially - a fresh set of Tyres!
