Outdoors, reflector (OIS off), raw conversion in macOS Mojave and refined in Luminar. The unease is growing and with it, the dilemma. The use of fossil fuels and of plastic is at the heart of modern life, mine included. "Going green" is not simply a matter of willpower and a personal decision, it will require a profound transformation of the way we live. And more, and a lot more difficult, it presupposes that humanity would be able to overcome its greediness. We shall see, but it is clear that the experiences of the past are not encouraging. The unease will be with us for a long time. Applying Gandhi's famous dictum to this question: "A green civilisation? That would be a wonderful idea!"

Ninna-ji (仁和寺 Ninna-ji) is the head temple of the Omuro school of the Shingon Sect of Buddhism. Located in western Kyoto, Japan, it was founded in AD 888 by the retired Emperor Uda. It is part of the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto", a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ninna-ji was founded in the early Heian period. In 886, Emperor Kōkō ordered the construction of the Nishiyama Goganji Temple to bless the nation and propagate Buddhist teachings, but he did not live to see its completion. Emperor Uda saw the construction to its completion in 888 and named it "Ninna" after the regnal year of the late Emperor Kōkō's reign. From 888 to 1869 it was traditional for reigning Emperors to send a son to the temple to take over as head priest when a vacancy arose.
After retiring from his throne, Emperor Uda became the first Monzeki, or aristocratic priest, of Ninna-ji. From then on until the end of the Edo period, the temple saw a succession of head priests of imperial lineage.
In 1467, the temple was destroyed by fire and fighting in the Ōnin War. It was rebuilt roughly 150 year later, thanks to the eldest son of Emperor Go-Yōzei, Kakushin Hosshinnō, who enlisted the help of Tokugawa Iemitsu, the third shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate. The resurrection coincided with the rebuilding of the Imperial Palace in Kyoto and thus received imperial funding.
The tradition of having aristocratic or persons of imperial lineage serve as chief of the temple ended with the 30th Monzeki, Junnin Hosshinnō in the late Edo period.
Most of the surviving buildings date from the 17th century, and include a five-story pagoda and an orchard of dwarf cherry trees. The temple itself features some beautifully painted screen walls, and a beautiful walled garden.

Omuro School of Flower Arranment
Ninna-ji Temple is the headquarters of the Omuro School of Flower Arrangement (“ikebana“). What is now the Omuro School was practiced at the temple for some time before it was renamed and the teaching methodology was made public after World War II. Ikebana (生け花, "arranging flowers") is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, also known as kadō (華道, the "way of flowers"). The tradition dates back to the 7th century when floral offerings were made at altars. Later they were placed in the tokonoma alcove of a home. Last week I came back from a fishing trip in Ireland. We had good days with beer, wine and we tried some Irish whiskey. I bought myself a few small bottles (5 cl) Irish whiskey as a souvenir to remember these great days.
Dieses Gebäude mit den Backsteineinfassungen passt auf den ersten Blick nicht in die moderne Architektur des Neuen Medienhafens in Düsseldorf. Im oberen Teil des Fotos ist allerdings eine moderne Glasfassade zu sehen. Auch hier wurde alte Bausubstanz mit moderner Architektur geschickt kombiniert. Das schöne Gebäude wird aktuell von einer Modefirma für die Präsentation der aktuellen Kollektionen genutzt. Diese Fassade konnte ich nur mit Hilfe meiner Weitwinkel Brennweite so ablichten. Verzerrungen musste ich bei der anschließenden Entwicklung mit LrC ausgleichen.

At first glance, this building with the brick surrounds does not fit into the modern architecture of the New Media Harbor in Düsseldorf. In the upper part of the photo, however, a modern glass facade can be seen. Here, too, old building fabric was cleverly combined with modern architecture. The beautiful building is currently used by a fashion company for the presentation of the current collections. I was only able to photograph this facade with the help of my wide-angle focal length. I had to compensate for distortions with LrC during the subsequent development.

While cooking breakfast I noticed the jagged membrane of my egg. I also shot a portion of an amethyst geode but felt that this was perfectly jagged.
Gleich am Beginn unseres kurzen Fotowalks sahen wir diesen kleinen zugefrorenen Teich. Das Eis war trotz der sehr niedrigen Temperaturen der letzten Tage noch sehr dünn, so dass man es nicht betreten konnte.

Right at the start of our short photo walk, we saw this small frozen pond. Despite the very low temperatures of the last few days, the ice was still very thin, so it was impossible to walk on it.

Esto es una primera prueba para ver si funciona y ni mucho menos es 1:1. Creo que incluso es de mejor calidad que el que tenia vivitar. Por 25 lereles :-)

Kotoin Zen Temple
Koto-in was established in 1601 at the behest of the famed military leader Hosokawa Tadaoki(1563-1645).It is a sub-temple of Daitoku-ji located within the precincts of the main temple. Hosokawa was one of the greater warriors of his time. And one of the few to survive the bloody wars which culminated in the establishment of the Tokugawa Shogunate (1603-1868) in the beginning of the seventeenth century.in addition to martial skills ,he was a man of great intellectual attainment and taste. Although his wife,Gratia(1563-1600) was a devout believer in outlawed Catholic faith and the daughter of Akechi Mitsuhide (1528-1582) ,notorious as the leader of an unsuccessful revolt, it is a tribute to Hosokawa’s brilliane that he was unaffected by his wife’s associations. He fought under the banner of Toyotomi Hideyoshi (1536-1598) in Koriea and was aleading figure in the ward which led to the establishment of the Tokugawa house.
Rewarded with vast domain, in his later life he devoted himself to the study of Zen under the famouse Daitoku-ji abbot,Seigan(1588-1661)and was noted also as one of the most distinguished disciples of the eminent tea master ,SenRikyu(1521-1594).
The famous tea house known as Shoko-ken which stands at this temple was built by Hosokawa. Equally admired is the tea-house ,known as Horai,Next to it stands a famous wash-basin,hollowed from a stone brought to Japan from the Imperial Palace in Koria.In the prencincts of this temple are the remains of Lord Hosokawa and his wife,Lady Gratia. The grave is a stone lantern which Hosakawa loved before his death.
Koto-in has in its possession numerous rare paintings and art objects, both Chinese and Japanese. Many of these are classed as National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties, and are of prime importance in the cultural and artistic history of Japan. The garden of this temple is a masterpiece of elegant simplicity, and is famed for the beauty of its maples .

だが、禅寺や禅庭にあっていつも戸惑う。

なんで君がそこにいるのかな？
Am äußersten Ostende der Hasper Talsperre bildet der Haper Bach einen Teich bevor er endgültig in die Talsperre mündet. Hier findet man immer wieder Wasservögel, die auf der kleinen Insel auch nisten. Heute war nur ein Entenpärchen zu entdecken - vor der Insel schwimmt aber noch ein Blesshuhn, das allerdings nur dann sichtbar wird, wenn das Foto deutlich vergrößert wird.

At the extreme eastern end of the Hasper Dam, the Haper Bach forms a pond before finally flowing into the dam. Here you can often find water birds that nest on the small island. Today only a pair of ducks could be discovered - but there is still a coot swimming in front of the island, which is only visible if the photo is significantly enlarged.

Yusei-en garden(有清園) and Ojogokuraku-in hall（往生極楽院） looked from Shinden Building.
Sanzen-in (三千院) is a Tendai school monzeki temple in Ōhara, Kyoto, Japan. The Heian period triad of Amida Nyorai flanked by attendants is a National Treasure.
Sanzenin Temple is the main attraction of the rural town of Ohara(大原）, which is located about an hour north of central Kyoto（京都）. The approach from Ohara bus stop to Sanzenin is lined with shops and restaurants catering to temple visitors, and there are a number of smaller temples in the vicinity. Sanzenin Temple itself has large temple grounds and a variety of buildings, gardens and walking paths.
Sanzenin is a temple of the Tendai sect of Japanese Buddhism and was founded by nobody less than the revered monk Saicho who introduced Tendai Buddhism to Japan in 804. Sanzenin is a monzeki temple( 門跡）, one of only a few temples whose head priests used to be members of the imperial family.
After entering the temple through the front gate, visitors to Sanzenin pass through a series of connected temple buildings. The first major building is the Kyakuden (guest hall), which displays works of Japanese calligraphy and paintings on sliding doors (fusuma襖). The building opens up onto the Shuhekien Garden, a traditional Japanese garden that has a small pond and hill.
Connected to the Kyakuden by a corridor, the Shinden (main hall) displays statues of three Buddhist deities, the central figure of Amida Buddha being flanked by the attendants Kannon and Fudo Myoo. From the Shinden visitors can enjoy the most famous view of Sanzenin Temple: the Ojo Gokuraku-in Hall seen through maple and cedar trees across a moss garden.
After admiring the view from the Shinden, visitors walk through the moss garden. A tranquil atmosphere permeates the garden, and there are a number of amusing stone statues that peek out from the moss.
Located in the middle of the moss garden, the Ojo Gokuraku-in Hall（往生極楽院） is the oldest temple building at Sanzenin. The hall was first built in 985 and most recently rebuilt in 1143. It holds a statue of Amida Buddha, Sanzenin's most valued treasure. The statue of Amida is accompanied by two attendant deities, Kannon on one side and Seishi on the other.

大原の地は千有余年前より魚山と呼ばれ仏教音楽（声名）の発祥の地であり、念仏聖による浄土信仰の聖地として今日に至ります。創建は傳教大師最澄上人（７６７～８２２）が比叡山延暦寺建立の際草庵を結ばれたのに始まります。別名 梶井門跡・梨本門跡とも呼ばれる天台宗五箇室門跡の一つで、皇子皇族が住職を勤めた宮門跡です。現在の名称は明治４年法親王還俗にともない、梶井御殿内の持仏堂に掲げられていた霊元天皇宸筆の勅額により、三千院と公称されるようになりました。
往生極楽院
寺伝では寛和二年（９８６）に「往生要集」の著者で天台浄土教の大成者である恵心僧都源信が父母の菩提のため姉の安養尼と共に建立したと伝えられています。お堂に比べて大きい「阿弥陀三尊像」(国宝）を収める工夫として天井を船底型に折りあげています。現在は肉眼ではわかり難いものの、その天井には極楽浄土に舞う天女や諸菩薩の姿が極彩色で描かれています。
有清園
本堂の寝殿より極楽院を眺める有清園は、中国の六朝時代を代表する詩人、謝霊運の「山水清音有」より命名された池泉回遊式庭園です。

La Vall del Madriu té ple de camins entre arbres molt macos i es poden trobar racons com aquests de les fotos. En la primera imatge el que va cridar-me l'atenció ràpidament va ser la gran arrel de l'arbre i és el que vaig voler mostrar. En la segona aquestes 4 branques amb molsa de la dreta del camí. Les dues fotos amb colors anàlegs, del verd al taronja. En la primera imatge el f16 està posat per mirar de tenir tota la imatge a foco, des de l'inici de l'arrel al fons, en la segona que està feta quasi al mateix lloc no ho vaig canviar, de fet aquí no cal una f tan alta.
