The annual softball game at Takata Field, June 11, was expanded this year. In keeping with tradition the Eagles played the Command Sergeants Major. The added bonus this year was First Sergeants/Master Sergeants playing against the Field Grade Officers. The winner of each game advanced to the championship game. The Eagles and First Sergeants/Master Sergeants advanced to the championship round. The First Sergeants/Master Sergeants made sure that the Eagles stayed grounded and the won the championship and bragging rights until next year. A great time was had by all as we celebrate the Army’s 239th Birthday. This year’s theme is “America’s Army: Our Profession.“
