I suspect I'm still going to run the occasional Windows app via Parallels, or Boot Camp, or something. My long-standing 1.6 GHz IBM A31 laptop, my primary home system for the last six years, was on its last legs - the hard drive was making bad noises, usually a sign of imminent mechanical failure, and I needed a new computer.

Amusingly enough, my old laptop seems to be running OK after a day of bad behaviour. We'll see if this continues.

I love to travel. I've been to Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, England, Greece, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Jamacia, & Japan. If I had the $$$ I would travel a lot more. I love seeng different cultures, lifestyles, foods, architecture, etc. I hear a lot of people say they hate airports. I love them. One of the best places to people watch and it beats the heck out of driving.
