Construction of the Tokitae ferry expected for delivery to Washington State ferries in 2014 and under construction at Vigor Industrial Seattle shipyard.
Washington State Ferries and Vigor Industrial commemorated the state’s newest 144-car ferry, the Samish, with a keel laying ceremony at Vigor’s Seattle shipyard on March 8. Washington State Governor Jay Inslee officially kicked off construction by making the first weld on the keel of the new ferry. The keel laying and first weld are maritime traditions equivalent to placing the cornerstone in a new building.

As my usual strategy, this one was bought in a local charity shop. It's very generous and is great for a summer's day. it could almost do for a light casual wedding dress. The shoes are new too. Again, a charity find. Although, I'm leaning into Vinted a lot these days.
While originally developed to fight a low intensity conflict characterized by IEDs, the M-ATV's defensive package provides effective protection for a modern conventional conflict as well, with the armored cabin capable of withstanding most small arms fire. The continuing development of the Active Protection System also provides some security against larger ordinance, such as an RPG.

I just found this photo of M when we were staying in a hotel in Torquay (for a scientific meeting), showing how she looked almost the same at 40 as she did 20 years earlier...
Nothing very artistic – just a nce snap!
See another photo of her taken later that day...
The BMW M roadster was a high-performance version of the BMW Z3. The differences between the two cars weren't limited to the underpinnings. The M roadster had a different body shape with more bulging fenders. It wasn't easy to recreate this in LEGO, and while I am reasonably happy with the result, it's not as curvaceous as the real car.
I built this model last Christmas, whilst in The Netherlands.
