When workspace designer M Moser redesigned its Hong Kong office, it was determined to visibly demonstrate the benefits of migrating to a more technologically sophisticated, collaborative and Sustainable style of working. The doubling of existing meeting spaces and integration of shared areas such as team hubs, plus ‘heads down’ rooms for more private working and meetings ensured enhanced knowledge sharing. Collaboration was further improved by the seamless integration of new technologies. Incorporating optimised natural daylight, plus energy-efficient individually-lit, island style personal workstations and extensively recycling existing fittings and furnishings, the new office shortly expects to receive LEED certification.

The 1st Light Horse Regiment was raised, from recruits from New South Wales, at Rosebury Park (Rosebery Park, the site of Rosebery Racecourse) in Sydney in August and September 1914. This band was formed and this photo is taken at Rosebery - possibly - 23 September 1914, when the Governor General made an inspection. Other photos at Rosebery at this time, have the same fence background.
This unit sailed from Sydney, New South Wales on board HMAT A16 Star of Victoria on 20 October 1914.

I love the geometry of this scene combined with the colour contrast across the frame. This has been found in one of the Stockholm's great metro stations (one of the most ordinary to be honest).
M Street in Washington DC's Georgetown neighborhood. With a small Industar-69 lens that was made to shoot on half-frames of 35mm film so the image doesn't cover my whole sensor.
En novembre, mon père m'a légué son Canon AE-1 en guise de cadeau.
Il avait acheté cet appareil quelques années avant ma naissance. Le cache de l'objectif à l'effigie de la coupe du monde 1982 l'atteste.
Toutes les photos de famille sont passées par les lentilles de son objectif au cours des trois dernières décennies.
Et puis ce modèle de Canon, c'est de la bonne cam, alors autant dire que l'émotion était grande.
En revanche, je ne m'attendais pas à recevoir l'appareil avec une pellicule mystère à l'intérieur. Une pellicule dont la date était inconnue. Une pellicule entamée, avec des prises de vue d'un autre temps. Mais quel temps ? Quelle période ? 5, 10, ans peut-être ?
Mon père est incapable de le dire.
Alors je termine soigneusement le film au cours du mois de novembre 2020.
Une fois bouclé, j'enchaîne avec deux autres films.
Pas pressée malgré la curiosité de la découverte quasi archéologique qui m'attend, je dépose les trois films mi-janvier à un nouveau labo, ultra pro, pour éviter toute casse de films (mésaventure survenue à deux reprises dans mon ancien labo).
Enfin je reçois les scans.
Là, je découvre avec stupeur la teinte de la kodak ColorPlus 200. Verte. L'intégralité des tirages est vert.
Je me penche sur la première pose : un cliché de ma soeur en train de jouer du piano dans notre ancienne maison. Vient ensuite mon portrait devant un gâteau d'anniversaire : deux bougies, deux chiffres dressés. J'ai 16 ans. A côté de moi, ma correspondante russe, en visite en France pour dix jours, sourit un peu intimidée.
2006-2020.
Une pellicule oubliée pendant 14 ans dans un appareil photo.
Entre les deux, des changements de vie. Et les objets d'une existence antérieure relegués dans les placards. Ignorés.
Jusqu'au jour où on veut bien les convoquer, les inviter dans notre présent. Pour s'arrêter un instant sur ce qui nous a construit.
Ici je (ré)concilie deux époques sur 35 mm.
