I have never seen any dog lying on his belly on the ground in Japan. But, I saw a dog sitting or lying like this photo many times in the tropical countries like Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and SriLanak. Mr. Makoto She-na, who is a Japanese populer writer and photographer, introduced his essay and a photo about dog lying on his belly in his book titled as "Tropical style of dog sitting「南洋犬座」".
I feel sympathy for his all photos that have full of love to humakind and all nature so that I love his photography.

The lake at Thekkady was formed when the Idukki dam was built. The lake inundated a huge tract of rainforst. The tree trunks still can be seen protruding above the surface of the lake.
I know, I know. You're squinting, you're saying "what the hell is that? Is that even a picture? It's so dark!" I know, and I'm sorry. I tried every flash setting I could, and every picture came out just like this one.
At 11 p.m. last night (Saturday, 9/16) I was in Park Slope, waiting for the F train that would take me to the N train that would take me home. As I told a friend, the F train shows up about as regularly as Brigadoon, so I was in that station for a while. Glancing onto the tracks, I saw that among the usual track detritus (abandoned MetroCards, abandoned food, rats) was a drill bit.
Now it could just be my overactive imagination, or it could be that I saw Body Double at an inappropriate age, but in general I don't like to see drill bits just lying around. Considering that over the summer a man was stabbed in a subway station near Columbia by a guy who picked up a cordless power saw from an unsupervised MTA work area, I think I can be pardoned for feeling a little unnerved when seeing something like this.
Lier is a Belgian city located in the province of Antwerp. The city is said to have been founded in the 11th century. In 1212, the Duke of Brabant Henri I granted an urban charter to the inhabitants. The fourteenth century was a period of prosperity for the city: construction of a cloth hall in 1367, a belfry in 1369 and a second rampart in 1389. The prosperity of the city was based on the drapery industry and on the existence of a cattle market, which had been granted to it by the Dukes of Brabant.
The Town Hall
The Town Hall dominates the market square. It’s the former clothmakers’ hall. In the 15th century the clothmakers’ hall was transferred to the Vleeshuis (Butchers’ Hall). In 1740 architect Jan Pieter van Bauerscheit the Younger substantially renovated the building, converting it into Brabant rococo style. It was designed as a large mansion adjacent to the Gothic Belfry.

dishonesty/lies. Why do people lie so much? what do they gain from it? People see things, they know the truth and yet for some reason they still don't speak the truth. I feel like it is so pointless when some is dishonest. I would rather hear the truth and move on with my life instead of believing and holding onto something that is not true or something that i will never gain.
