Foggy day shot - played a bit with hues and saturation here.
With an arch span of 550m Shanghai's Lupu Bridge (卢浦大桥) has been the longest steel arch bridge in the world until it was surpassed by the Chaotianmen Bridge.
The Lupu Bridge spans the Huangpu River from the Luwan District to Pudong. It's located at the northern edge of the EXPO 2010 area and will provide a great overview over the EXPO. One may ascend the bridge for a fee, an observation platform is located at the top of the arch. Carrying tripods is prohibited.
Other steel arch bridges' arch span:
Chaotianmen Bridge, Chongqing 552m (the new no. 1)
New River Gorge Bridge, West Virginia, 521m
Bayonne Bridge, New Jersey, 510m
Sydney Harbour Bridge 503m

The Arctic wolf (Canis lupus arctos), also known as the white wolf or polar wolf, is a subspecies of gray wolf native to Canada's Queen Elizabeth Islands, from Melville Island to Ellesmere Island. It is a medium-sized subspecies, distinguished from the northwestern wolf by its smaller size, its whiter coloration, its narrower braincase, and larger carnassials. Since 1930, there has been a progressive reduction in size in Arctic wolf skulls, which is likely the result of wolf-dog hybridization.

A dark cloud of cosmic dust snakes across this spectacular wide field image, illuminated by the brilliant light of new stars. This dense cloud is a star-forming region called Lupus 3, where dazzlingly hot stars are born from collapsing masses of gas and dust. This image was created from images taken using the VLT Survey Telescope and the MPG/ESO 2.2-metre telescope and is the most detailed image taken so far of this region.

I overheard the market stall holders calling her by her name as they packed her groceries into the bag that she was pushing - all defiantly in front of a Tescos Supermarket.
A gentle tender moment between 2 gray wolves.
A Cherokee Legend:
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.
"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.
"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
"Which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
Those who hate wolves seem to feed the first......
Wishing you a wonderful week!
My own take on the Iconic Barbartos Lupus Rex. Build video will be out over the weekend ^^. Most of the techniques here were based on the small mechs that have come before.
