Bermeo, Vizcaya, PaΓs Vasco, EspaΓ±a.
La villa de Bermeo es un municipio vizcaΓno de la comarca de Busturialdea, en la comunidad autΓ³noma del PaΓs Vasco, EspaΓ±a. Se trata de una de las localidades mΓ‘s pobladas de la comarca de la Reserva de la Biosfera de Urdaibai junto con Guernica y Luno, con 16 864 habitantes (INE, 2020).
Fundada en 1236, la villa ostentΓ³ el tΓtulo de Cabeza de Vizcaya desde 1476 hasta 1602, siendo la principal poblaciΓ³n del SeΓ±orΓo de Vizcaya. Es por ello por lo que Bermeo gozΓ³ de ciertos privilegios y por lo que gozaba de mayor relevancia frente al resto de villas en las Juntas Generales de Vizcaya. A esto cabe aΓ±adirle las juras que los reyes realizaban en la iglesia de Santa Eufemia cada vez que visitaban la provincia.
Actualmente, se trata de una villa arraigada a la tradiciΓ³n marinera, ya que su economΓa se basa mayoritariamente en la pesca y en las conservas de pescado.
Posee ademΓ‘s diferentes atractivos turΓsticos tales como la ermita de San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, la torre Ercilla (Museo del pescador), la Puerta de San Juan, el casco antiguo, la Atalaya y el manicomio y su acogedor puerto, entre otros.
The town of Bermeo is a Biscayan municipality in the Busturialdea region, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country, Spain. It is one of the most populated towns in the region of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, together with Guernica and Luno, with 16,864 inhabitants (INE, 2020).
Founded in 1236, the town held the title of Head of Vizcaya from 1476 to 1602, being the main population of the Lordship of Vizcaya. That is why Bermeo enjoyed certain privileges and why it enjoyed greater relevance compared to the rest of the towns in the General Meetings of Vizcaya. To this must be added the oaths that the kings made in the church of Santa Eufemia every time they visited the province.
Currently, it is a town rooted in the seafaring tradition, since its economy is based mainly on fishing and canned fish.

La cosiddetta Luna blu Γ¨, in genere, una definizione per indicare il secondo plenilunio del mese.
Bermeo, Vizcaya, PaΓs Vasco, EspaΓ±a.
La villa de Bermeo es un municipio vizcaΓno de la comarca de Busturialdea, en la comunidad autΓ³noma del PaΓs Vasco, EspaΓ±a. Se trata de una de las localidades mΓ‘s pobladas de la comarca de la Reserva de la Biosfera de Urdaibai junto con Guernica y Luno, con 16 864 habitantes (INE, 2020).
Fundada en 1236, la villa ostentΓ³ el tΓtulo de Cabeza de Vizcaya desde 1476 hasta 1602, siendo la principal poblaciΓ³n del SeΓ±orΓo de Vizcaya. Es por ello por lo que Bermeo gozΓ³ de ciertos privilegios y por lo que gozaba de mayor relevancia frente al resto de villas en las Juntas Generales de Vizcaya. A esto cabe aΓ±adirle las juras que los reyes realizaban en la iglesia de Santa Eufemia cada vez que visitaban la provincia.
Actualmente, se trata de una villa arraigada a la tradiciΓ³n marinera, ya que su economΓa se basa mayoritariamente en la pesca y en las conservas de pescado.
Posee ademΓ‘s diferentes atractivos turΓsticos tales como la ermita de San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, la torre Ercilla (Museo del pescador), la Puerta de San Juan, el casco antiguo, la Atalaya y el manicomio y su acogedor puerto, entre otros.
The town of Bermeo is a Biscayan municipality in the Busturialdea region, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country, Spain. It is one of the most populated towns in the region of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, together with Guernica and Luno, with 16,864 inhabitants (INE, 2020).
Founded in 1236, the town held the title of Head of Vizcaya from 1476 to 1602, being the main population of the Lordship of Vizcaya. That is why Bermeo enjoyed certain privileges and why it enjoyed greater relevance compared to the rest of the towns in the General Meetings of Vizcaya. To this must be added the oaths that the kings made in the church of Santa Eufemia every time they visited the province.
Currently, it is a town rooted in the seafaring tradition, since its economy is based mainly on fishing and canned fish.
It also has different tourist attractions such as the hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, the Ercilla tower (Fisherman's Museum), the Puerta de San Juan, the old town, the Atalaya and the asylum and its welcoming port, among others.

Gernika-Lumo es un municipio de Vizcaya, en la comunidad autΓ³noma del PaΓs Vasco, EspaΓ±a, perteneciente a la comarca de Busturialdea y enmarcado en el Γ‘rea natural de Urdaibai. Tiene 17 016 habitantes (INE 2019), una extensiΓ³n de 8,47 kmΒ² y una densidad de 1909 habitantes/kmΒ² y es una de las localidades mΓ‘s pobladas de la comarca junto con Bermeo.
El municipio de Guernica y Luno surge en el siglo XIX tras la uniΓ³n administrativa de la anteiglesia de Luno y de la villa de Guernica, fundada a su vez en terrenos pertenecientes a Luno, aunque cada entidad conservΓ³ su derecho propio; la anteiglesia el derecho foral de la Tierra Llana de Vizcaya, y la villa el derecho comΓΊn castellano.
Guernica y Luno alberga el lugar donde se reunΓan las Juntas Generales de Vizcaya, bajo el roble conocido como Γrbol de Guernica, sΓmbolo de las libertades de los vizcaΓnos y donde antiguamente, los seΓ±ores de Vizcaya, tras recibir su tΓtulo, venΓan a jurar el respeto del fuero de Vizcaya.
El 26 de abril de 1937, durante la Guerra Civil EspaΓ±ola, la ciudad fue bombardeada por la LegiΓ³n CΓ³ndor, unidad aΓ©rea de la Luftwaffe al servicio de la causa franquista. Inspirado en estos hechos, Pablo Picasso pintΓ³ su obra Guernica presentada en la ExposiciΓ³n Internacional de ParΓs de 1937. En la Segunda Guerra Mundial, los voluntarios vascos que participaron en la Brigada Carnot de las Fuerzas Francesas del Interior tomaron el nombre de BatallΓ³n Guernica. 124 civiles fueron las vΓctimas del ataque alemΓ‘n a una poblaciΓ³n indefensa y sin instalaciones militares.
Gernika-Lumo is a municipality in Vizcaya, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country, Spain, belonging to the Busturialdea region and framed in the natural area of ββUrdaibai. The municipality of Guernica and Luno emerged in the 19th century after the administrative union of the porch of Luno and the town of Guernica, founded in turn on land belonging to Luno, although each entity retained its own rights; the porch the foral law of the Tierra Llana de Vizcaya, and the town the Castilian common law.
Guernica and Luno houses the place where the General Assemblies of Vizcaya met, under the oak tree known as the Tree of Guernica, a symbol of the freedoms of the Biscayans and where in the past, the lords of Biscay, after receiving their title, came to swear respect of the jurisdiction of Vizcaya.
On April 26, 1937, during the Spanish Civil War, the city was bombed by the Condor Legion, a Luftwaffe air unit at the service of Franco's cause. Inspired by these events, Pablo Picasso painted his work Guernica presented at the International Exhibition in Paris in 1937. In World War II, the Basque volunteers who participated in the Carnot Brigade of the French Forces of the Interior took the name of Guernica Battalion. 124 civilians were the victims of the German attack on a defenseless population without military installations.
The last heatwave of summer has left, welcoming the yellow leaves and rainy breeze. She found herself having a moment with the wind, allowing it to caress her cheeks, trail its fingers through her hair and did she imagined a light kiss over her lips? Chuckling to herself she continued on the walk home through her favorite path. Puddles from last night's rain bringing joy to her inner youth, despite getting older year by year.
Luno trailed near her, occasionally attacking her legs for fun because he usually gets bored easily. He looked at the puddles with disgust, just shaking his feline head, ears twitching before he looked up at her since she stopped walking. His eye squinted and he looked so not impressed. Why was she stopping? Not this again. He released a displeased mrowl.
What she did was simple really, she stopped near the edge of the path, kicked her slippers away to the side, put down the basket of apples and groceries she picked up. She eyed Luno with an innocent smile, "Don't be a kill joy..." she said towards the dark one. The feline looked fed up but he just turned away and decided to close his eyes and dream of catnip all day long.
Just like a child, she balanced her hands over her side, looked down over the puddle, lifting a foot towards it before lowering it down. The cold damp left over rain water giving her a light shiver. The wind around her began to pick up, making Luno release a yowl in retaliation. We should have just went straight home. Tsk.
Before she could stop what happened. She found the wind pushing her forward, both her feet into the puddle...along with her entire body just getting swallowed whole.
Luno eyed the empty puddle, looking left and right. Another meow was released and he even bravely reached out to paw the water a bit looking disgusted again. She was gone...
The puddle swallowed her!
