I recently (re)heard Randy Newman's song Short People.
It's basically a satirical song about the lunacy of prejudice as sung from the point of view of a lunatic.
Some people misunderstood and took it as serious.
I'm (pretty much) a medium people, Newman himself is (pretty much) a short people, and I know lots of tall people.
It's all ok. Just be kind......that's about it.

As soon as I saw this moon rise above those hills in the distance, I left my companions and wandered off to this tufa formation. I took my time to compose my shot and didn't think too much of my companions who were looking for me. I guess I was a lunatic!

Being preceded.
Believe it or not. When I planned to go to the Giant's causeway half a year ago, I decided it should be at full moon. It seemed nice to me to photograph this spot with that certain blue moonlight to capture the scenery, looking in the direction of the mountain, with the rising stones in front of me. To the centre where the strip of vulcanic polygonals started. I searched on PE, a few other sites to orientate and suddenly I was shocked to find the image I had in my mind. A capture that was made by Theo Bosboom. He won the third place with it in the ILPotY. So, my idea wasn't really original ? But for sure, I never saw it before. Taken by the surprise, hesitation, confusion, should I leave this spot for what it was ? Evade ? Or go and just relish the atmosphere of the moonlit night ?

How time flows!
Thoughts –our coddled, warm, and beautiful thoughts– fizzle out with time to bare lonely boulders and shards of our broken self. And then, with time, in comes a new fuzzy wave of thoughts to flood the being. Ah! A new identity! A new hope! A new beginning!
And then the cycle repeats. Again.
And again.

In the Middle Ages, scientists and philosophers believed that a full moon caused seizures and influenced episodes of fever and rheumatism. Because of the connection between the moon and unusual behavior, the afflicted were called lunatics, or, literally, "moon sick."
On Halloween night we went to the San Francisco's Russian Hill to take photos of the moonrise. We positioned ourselves on Lombard Street just below the wiggly part to get the moon over the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge.
I processed balanced HDR photos from two RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and selectively adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
