The city offers plenty to do and see, from art galleries to sports venues to shopping districts. With its bustling nightlife and great restaurants, Toronto is an exciting place to visit or live!

Bodensee/GER
Die Dominikanerinsel oder Konstanzer Inse ist eine Insel im Bodensee unmittelbar östlich der (festländischen) Altstadt von Konstanz. Mit einer Fläche von 1,8 Hektar ist sie eine der kleineren Bodenseeinseln. Die Insel ist durch den nur sechs Meter breiten Stadtgraben von der Altstadt getrennt und mit ihr durch eine Brücke verbunden. Sie wird vom Steigenberger Inselhotel dominiert, das in einem früheren Dominikanerkloster untergebracht ist.

Bras d'Or Lake as a basin ringed by indigo hills laced with marble. Islands within a sea inside an island. The lake is connected to the North Atlantic by natural channels; the Great Bras d'Or Channel north of Boularderie Island and the Little Bras d'Or Channel to south of Boularderie Island connect the northeastern arm of the lake to the Cabot Strait. The Bras d'Or is also connected to the Atlantic Ocean via the Strait of Canso by means of a lock canal completed in 1869—the St. Peters Canal, at the southern tip of the lake.

Africa is considered by most paleoanthropologists to be the oldest inhabited territory on Earth, with the Human species originating from the continent. During the mid-20th century, anthropologists discovered many fossils and evidence of human occupation perhaps as early as 7 million years ago (BP=before present). Fossil remains of several species of early apelike humans thought to have evolved into modern man, such as Australopithecus afarensis radiometrically dated to approximately 3.9–3.0 million years BP, Paranthropus boisei (c. 2.3–1.4 million years BP) and Homo ergaster (c. 1.9 million–600,000 years BP) have been discovered.

Der Platz am Sande in Lüneburg ist einer der zentralen Plätze der Stadt. Schon von weitem sind insbesondere die St. Johannis Kirche mit ihrem schiefen Turm und das prächtige Gebäude der IHK sichtbar.
Der Platz Am Sande war im Mittelalter ungepflastert, also sandig. Dort stellten die Kaufleute ihre Pferdefuhrwerke und Ochsenkarren ab und kauften und verkauften ihre Waren, wie zum Beispiel das Salz.

Die kleine Hopfen- und Fachwerkstadt Hornburg liegt im nördlichen Harzvorland, eingebettet in das liebliche Ilsetal. Mit der unter Denkmalschutz stehenden mittelalterlichen Altstadt und den fast 400 Fachwerkhäusern gilt Hornburg als eine der schönsten Kleinstädte Norddeutschlands. Besonders sehenswert sind die reich verzierten Renaissance Fachwerkhäuser, wie zum Beispiel das Neidhammelhaus von 1563 und das Storchenhaus von 1560.
