Kersey is a village and civil parish in the Babergh district in Suffolk, in the east of England. The main street has a ford across a stream. Its principal claim to fame is that a coarse woollen cloth called Kersey cloth takes its name from it. The latest Masterpiece Theater “ Magpie Murders” was filmed at this very location. When I saw the scene the actors were having a drink outside this The Bell Pub, I knew I have been here before 😉 naturally the location’s name was changed in the movie and the pub’s also to Queen’s Pub.

Dank der holländischen Architektur wird das "Holländerstädtchen" heute gern besucht.

Das Schraube Museum in Halberstadt zeigt Wohnkultur der Jahrhundertwende 19/20 Jahrhundert! Es ist das kleinste Museum in der Stadt, dennoch reizvoll. Bis 1980 lebte in diesen Räumen Margarete Schraube, deren Familie einst ein Wäschegeschäft und eine Blaufärberei auf diesem Grundstück betrieben.
