Just after a Lufthansa Boeing 747 took off from Runway 18 at Frankfurt, this Lufthansa Cargo McDonnell-Douglas MD-11F did the same. Luckily the jet wash was mostly gone when it did.

D-AIGZ, seen at Narita Airport almost 2 years ago, is one of 14 Airbus A340-300s still flying with Lufthansa today. Plans are made to transfer 6 of the A340-300 to Eurowings as part of their fleet expansion
Big game at MSP! The MUC-ORD A340-600 diverted on account of bad weather in Chicago. Thanks to JetTip’s smart flight alerts, more than a dozen aviation enthusiasts were on hand to catch their arrival.

A Lufthansa Boeing 747 landing at YVR. This was the first 747 that I'd seen in two years. Last one I saw was on a cloudy March day in 2020 just two weeks before the Pandemic was declared. Many airlines that were still flying the 747 started rapidly retiring them after COVID hit. I honestly thought the one I saw that day would be the last I'd ever seen. Fortunately it wasn't. Lufthansa has started flying their 747s again and they're back on the route from Frankfurt to Vancouver. Hopefully I'll see a few more before they fly for the last time.
