Reflecting it's actuation number, this aircraft usually flies/flew with the flight number BOE39 - but sometimes, given the volume of 737 production, two aircraft are using the same flight number and one has to change - hence on this day it flew as BOE513, while a 737 for FlyDubai was flying as BOE39.

On Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, JetBlue and Lufthansa celebrated the first day of their airlines’ codeshare operation. Customers and Crewmembers were treated to international food and music, highlighting the global nature of the event. JetBlue CEO Dave Barger and Lufthansa CEO Christoph Franz took the stage with Crewmembers from both airlines to mark the milestone day, thanking everyone involved for making the codeshare happen.

This aircraft was destroyed by a fire caused by a pushback truck during a transport in Frankfurt on June 11, 2018 and was written off due to the severity of the fire.
