I wanted to try a low-speed photo in the coast, and my old D60 with a standard 18-55 lenses with low luminosity was perfect for that, I thought. I am very happy with the images I got that day, and I will practice more to learn, but sadly I am no more in that beautiful coast.

Dragging the shooter to capture the motion feeling by means of a blurred rower and water on a neat boat is definitely a crazy technique when taking pictures of skiffs from an oblique angle. I've taken this approach this time, and this is the best I've got (I think) after a two-hours shooting on the start line.

Male... this species is endemic to the Brazilian Atlantic rainforest.
Photo taken in a dark place at a very low speed, despite the high ISO, hand held and no flash. Not exactly a good shot, but, given the conditions, I must have had a reasonably steady hand :) He's such a cutie and he posed so well, I had to share the moment.

I am very sorry to have not visited your streams for at least a week but I would try to cope up soon as I just arrived from Korea and I am sorry too that I ain't ready yet with the pics... :-(
Trying out some lowspeed film, Rollei RPX 25. Really happy with the results as this was 10am on a sunny morning and I was able to shoot pretty wide open for that nice shalloe depth. I was really impressed with the contrast too. As I try to figure out what stocks I like and don’t like, I’ll definitely be shooting this one a lot more.
