The third annual Hot Peace Lunch, hosted by the Ross School Parents Association, was held in the Lower School Field House on March 27. The room was filled with beautiful, handmade decorations including paper cranes and peace mandalas. The lunch featured a vegetarian meal as well as a group sing-along, a meditation on peace, and live music with African drumming.
The students in Pre-K B at Ross visited Eric Freeman’s art studio in East Hampton on April 21. Eric talked about painting and gave each student a small canvas to work on, as well as a paint color of their choosing.
Thomas Lingen died 16th May 1742 Sheriff of the County in the year 1735 An undeviating affectionate father

He died May 6th 1742 aged 49 years
Also Ann Burton, wife of the above.. She was the daughter of Robert Burton
She was a person truly excelling in every relation of life.
Dutiful daughter, a tender mother, an affectionate wife.
She had issue 12 children of whom Robert, Thomas, Henry, Ann, Elizabeth, Frances, Blanch & Rachel survive her; And doe with her disconsolate husband bemoan their irreparable loss.
She died May 23rd 1737 in the 35th year of her age
Thomas Lingen was the son of Roger Lingen of Radbrook by Rachel daughter of Thomas Willis of London
He m 1722 Anne daughter of Robert Burton of Longner

at johnston canyon trail. again, the shadows played havoc with me here, but i had to include one with that beautiful colored water.
A glimpse of Lower Linton Falls through the tree branches. For such an impressive waterfall, you think the Forest Service could build a decent trail to get here. But the only trail is an unofficial and difficult one.
Three Sisters Wilderness
This prescribed burn occurred in the fall of 2010 on the Lowman Ranger District of the Boise National Forest.
