The Aegidien church (Aegidienkirche) church was built in the 14th Century in Hanover. In 1943 the church was destroyed during a bombing raid. After the war, the Aegidienkirche was not rebuilt and its ruins were kept as a memorial to the victims of wars and violence.

The Sandhills lupine is a flower that only reaches about 8 inches tall, and thrives on sandy, disturbed soil such as roadsides. The low light seemed right for the pov. Submitted for #LowAngle #FlickrFriday.
Roe deer, in late evening light. The low shooting angle together with the reflection from the autumn leaf color and the low light, created a sparkling palette of bright, warm colors and framed the deer in an unusual way.

Desde la terraza mirador de un conocido hotel malagueño, las gaviotas sobrevuelan a los turistas y visitantes, parecen jugar con ellos, como si les hiciese gracia que pudiésemos estar casi a la altura a la que ellas vuelan.
Not sure what to make of Hannah's expression. Maybe she was expecting presents.

This was photographed on my drive. A model car on top of the decorative stones and a printed back ground. Handheld and a small amount of cropping in photoshop.
Thanks for looking

Tras el día ventoso que hemos tenido hoy me he puesto a recordar los paseos por los hayedos navarros de este otoño.

Two days ago I was in the forest, not far from my hometown and I found there some mushrooms. Yes, the Autumn is already here...
The Bay bolete (Boletus badius), is a common edible pored mushroom from Europe and North America. Often considered a poor relation of the Cep (Boletus edulis). The Bay Bolete is common in mixed woodlands in Europe and North America.
Boletus badius derives its common name (The Bay Boletus) from the bay or chestnut coloured cap, which is almost spherical in young specimens before broadening and flattening out to 18 cm (7 in). The pores are cream to pale yellow, but stain blue when bruised or cut. The flesh is white and stains pale blue. The stem is up to 12.5 cm (5 in) and similar in colour to the cap but paler. It appears less affected by maggots than other boletes.
Polish name: podgrzybek brunatny, borowik kasztanowy
