so, i spent a few days in philly with my aunt debbie while she was in town for some business. i walked around during the days and shot some stuff, and she worked...
then at night we'd go have some fun.
oddly w/all of those amazing buildings and whatnot....i found myself shooting birds and critters and flowers and such. ha.
can take the girl out of the country but can't take the country out of the girl.
i had a pet pigeon a few years back named pickles....well, he was wild but he sort of adopted me. there are no pigeons out here in the woods so when he showed up at my house it was very strange ....but i didn't care...i loved him and i think he loved me too. he stayed for about a month and i fed him everyday. then one day he vanished :(
he looked a little like this guy but didn't have those cool orange eyes. he had pretty black eyes.
i miss my pickles and want another one!

This miniature donkey lives down the road from me. He is a pasture mate of Mr. Llama. He is peering out at me from behind a decorative wagon wheel on the gate of their enclosure. He was so sweet and very gentle-and, very appreciative of the carrots that I brought! I really would like to load him up into my car ( he would fit, he is the size of a big dog) and bring him home with me.

my baby is a stud!!
His 9U Baseball team played this weekend at the Javy Lopez Woodbat tournament and came in third. My baby is the catcher and he caught all 5 games and was SPECTACULAR!!! Even had another team asking him to play for them in an out of state tournament!!
Proud is an understatement . . . their team has more heart than I have ever seen!!! :)
