I love architecture and the geometry involved.

Moulin Rouge is a cabaret in Paris, France. Today, the Moulin Rouge is a tourist attraction, offering musical dance entertainment for visitors from around the world. The club's decor still contains much of the romance of fin de siècle France.

Thanks everyone, thanks for all the votes, comments,

visits, support, critics, invites, awards, etc ...

First and foremost, many thanks to Stewart Ty. Without his help, I would not have achieved this image. For my own photography, I have to give credit where it's due. Thanks Stew!

Because this is such a timely and fresh event, I am posting another image from the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge. This was taken during the 20-minute fireworks finale of all the festivities that took place in honor of one of the world's modern wonders.

What I remember most from this moment cannot actually be appreciated from the photo itself. While the fireworks were in progress, there were many people around me literally cheering and shouting their love for San Francisco and professing their admiration for the Golden Gate Bridge. As an individual with profound interest and enthusiasm for all the world's magnificent cities, I found it extremely heartwarming to hear people express their love for the city in which they live at this event.

This is part of my objective for my own photography of cities -- to show their personality, and a large part of a city's personality, of course, is from its own people. This was only my third visit to San Francisco, but ever since I was a child, and first saw the Golden Gate, harbour, and skyline of SF, I was in love with it. (The suspenseful climax of the James Bond movie "A View to a Kill" sealed the deal). I never tire of going there. It had long been my favorite city in the USA before I visited for the first time in April 2008. There's something very alluring and infectuous about San Francisco's cosmopolitan vibe that cannot be matched by any other American city. When you visit, you'll know. You can feel it in the atmosphere. It was definitely in the air that night.

The moment itself was so much bigger than the photograph. For 20 minutes, that admiration and love was ubiquitous for everyone within 10 miles of the Golden Gate.

I promise to get to all your photostreams this week. Between the 9 to 5, the thousands of photos from NYC and SF to sort and process, and updating the official website and blog, I have a lot of ground to cover by the weekend.

Tower Bridge with very few people and very little traffic during Covid-19 pandemic 2020

A small collection of light based shots.

I've been trying to upload as many photos as possible from my Delhi Trip. But I got busy going for photowalks every other weekend and didn't find time for the old photos. I was going through the archive and I felt I should upload this photo!

For the folks who have visited the Taj, you know how difficult it is to get this scene :D

For the folks who haven't, this is the first view! And Taj is something you ought to see at least once in your life time :)

My first upload in 2018 and my last shot during to end my family trip to Auckland. Shot this during blue hour before sunrise. I wanted to include the convention centre and sky tower , so came up with this composition. Love architecture of this convention centre. There is a lot to see , do and shoot in Auckland.

Clyde was near a CTA entrance, on the northwest corner of Michigan and Van Buren. He was friendly and talkative from the beginning and had a great smile. "Years ago, I was in the Navy." Then, lived in Arizona for awhile and traveled back to Chicago with his wife. "I have a bachelor's degree in engineering", he said. He also loves architecture and tried to roll that into his engineering studies, but didn't have enough money to do so. He is currently working as a security guard, but also hustles during the day to make ends meet. He would like to go back to school, but money prohibits him from doing so. His advice for people is to adapt and improve yourself so you can be the best you can be.

¡Thanks for all the comments and awards! All comments are welcome; if you like, or not.

The cathedral is one of the most famous and most recognisable sights of London. Its dome, framed by the spires of Wren's City churches, dominated the skyline for 300 years. At 365 feet (111 m) high, it was the tallest building in London from 1710 to 1962. The dome is among the highest in the world. St Paul's is the second largest church building in area in the United Kingdom after Liverpool Cathedral.

Buckingham Palace in London. I am no royalist but it's a beautiful building and would make a great home for an elected British Head of state. I think "The President of The United Kingdom" has a very good ring to it and a legitimacy that King or Queen does not have.

Agra, a city on the banks of the Yamuna River, was the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1556 and 1658. It currently has about 2 million inhabitants. It is located almost 200 kilometers south of Delhi and its connections to the capital are good.

Agra is the third largest city in the Uttar Pradesh region, and is part of the most popular tourist circuits, especially the so-called Golden Triangle (Agra-Delhi-Jaipur).

Practically the entire population of Agra speaks Hindi, although English and Urdu can also be heard.

Today Agra has become a major tourist attraction in India. The city receives millions of visitors every year, especially to visit the mausoleum of the Taj Mahal, although it has many other interesting things.
