When you walk in the front door after being away for a long time, and you have that warm, familiar feeling, you know that you are home. The background here is a photo collage I did that hangs in my dining room, and yes, that's a picture of little ole, 3-year-old me.

I spent many happy times in this neighborhood located in Long Beach, Mississippi right next to Waveland, where the eye of Katrina hit. My mother's best friend and her family lived here for over 20 years.
