Thank heavens for flickr on line storage. My laptop was on 1GB lefton the hard drive. Having a really thorough clear out, I will get round to sorting the wheat from the chaff later!!

Friday, Dec. 28th. We're home and safe. I am freshly showered, changed infusion set, hugging and kissing Andrew and cats and soon to be drinking a glass of wine.
The trip took 9.5 hrs. And my legs, butt and arms are so stiff!
I was sitting at the office last Friday evening finishing my "happy hour" beer with Wilson and a few friends when we heard a meowing at the door of the conference room. (which leads to the second floor deck that Lucia climbed a lot of stairs to get to) Wilson and I were immediately taken with her, and decided that it wasn't safe for a kitten to be wandering around in downtown where she could be run over, etc. So we did the right thing and sprinkled "found kitty" fliers all over downtown Lawrence. By the end of the weekend we were thoroughly attached and got the dreaded owner call- the most dreaded owner call, in fact. The owner said that she called her "no-name" or "shithead" and hadn't really been looking for over the last few days.
We were heartbroken but held out the slight hope that Lucia would escape again, and come back to downtown to find us again.
Three days after we lost her, our found kitty is back with us again.
Whats the next best thing to staying in the bed cuddling the whole day? Clean new sheets of course! That and happy little things by the bedside floating shelves. #bed #room #apartment #home #beddings #sheets #heart #love #things #bedside #light #expat #france #paris #igersparis #igersmanila
