So being home has been a reflective time for me. Turbulence is part of any family but there has been lots of it here lately... so it has taken me back to times of my childhood.. when I grew up in this house.. and how so much has changed for all of us since then. This is me when I was 5 and when I first was introduced to my best friend in the whole wide world... Cinnamon. She was only 9 weeks old in this picture. it was love at first sight. It has been so lovely to look back and relive all these wonderful experiences how have truly shaped me into what I am today.
I must admit that this is my all time favorite photo of me. Since it was taken it has been on this little bulletin board over my bed in my childhood room. It reminds me of home, of fond memories, of my family, of my life..
And today, since I was looking at it.. I thought i'd share it with you...

It's been a month since The MOM's stuff was unloaded off of the moving van. Today I'm borrowing an image of hers.
These little houses are her creation. So much symbolism in such a simple form. Love. Home.
She's been working away at her studio, getting back into her groove. I couldn't be happier for her ♥

My Love and I always split the household stuff fairly equally. Whilst I've not been well he's been doing MUCH more than his fair share because he knows it stresses me out when the place is a tip. He's a bit fab he is!
