A few weeks ago I jumped at the chance to loop the loop in glider to raise money for the charity Hope and Aid, I am so glad I did, yesterday the day it was scheduled for nearly never happened due to the weather but luckily it ended up a lovely day and in the afternoon it all went ahead and it was thoroughly exhilirating. Something I would certainly love to do again.
Oh and that lion on the mountainside is Whipsnade zoo

Chicago, IL
Jewelers Building
35 E Wacker
Chicago IL
Jewelers Building
Built 1925-1927
Architects: Joachim Giaver and
Frederick P. Dinkelberg
Style: Beaux Arts with Neoclassical Detailing
This Chicago Landmark, designed by Giaver & Dinkelberg in the Beaux Arts and Renaissance styles was built in 1926, is 41-stories and is clad entirely in terra cotta. Ornate details include the initials JB, for the building’s original name, Jewelers’ Building. It is topped with a domed belvedere and has corner turrets on the 24th floor that artfully hid water towers.
For its first 14 years, the building had a car lift that served the first 23 floors, later converted to office space. There was no access between the offices and the parking garage, except at the Lower Wacker Drive level, where drivers would leave their cars with an attendant.
