There were a handful of pro-Trump supporters on hand. Maybe six or seven of them. They were vastly outnumbered by anti Trump protesters. One of the pro-Trump supporters billed herself as a Latina for Trump. Naturally, arguments broke out between members of the two groups. Chicago police made sure to stay between them.
The anti-Trump protesters gathered on Wacker Drive in the lee of Trump Tower. There was a huge police presence complete with barricades, the horse patrol and Streets and Sanitation trucks blocking Wabash Avenue in the direction of Trump Tower.
After about an hour of milling around on Wacker Drive, waving anti-Trump signs and shouting the chants and slogans, the crowd moved off to begin a march around the Loop. They got a lot of support from people standing on the sidewalks.
Chicago Loop is one of 77 officially designated community areas located in the City of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is the historic commercial center of Downtown Chicago.

Safely in the crossing loop at Oberried, leaning out of the train a wall of sound and light approaches through the cold dark night. A quick photograph and just in time, duck back as in a flurry of snow the train rushes by.

The Second Leiter Building, also known as Leiter II Building and the Sears Building, is located on S. State St. between E. Van Buren St. and E. Congress Pkwy. It is one of the earliest commercial buildings constructed with a metal skeleton frame remaining in the United States. Built in 1891 by Levi Leiter, the Second Leiter Building was designed by William Le Baron Jenney. It became the downtown flagship store of Sears, Roebuck and Company in 1932 and closed in 1986. The building is now the Chicago campus of Robert Morris University.
