The chapel, where daily services are held, features artwork by Abraham Rattner, who also designed the "Let There Be Light" stained glass and the ark.
Organized in 1929, the Chicago Loop Synagogue, a Traditional Orthodox congregation, moved into its present quarters at 16 S. Clark St. in 1957. It was designed by the firm of Loebl, Schlossman & Bennett. The temple features beautiful stained glass, including “Let There Be Light,” a three-panel design by Abraham Rattner.

When I took this picture of (Apple) Infinite Loop, I was very closed to the door. Nobody was really paying attention and I decided to change the angle in order to see more stuff inside the Infinite Loop Apple Building.
In the background, we can clearly see a huge ads of the new iPhone and some garden. I really like this picture because we can see "inside", it's not only a photo of the name.

• About Me
This is a photograph from the 11th annual running of the Tom Brennan Memorial 5KM Road Race and Fun Run which was held on Furze Road, Phoenix Park, Chapelizod, Dublin, Ireland on New Year's Day Friday 1st January 2016 at 12:00. The race route is a two loop course which starts and finishes on the Furze Road in the middle of the Phoenix Park. Participants follow a clockwise, right-handed, route around Furze Road, Ordnance Survey and Chesterfield Avenue. The weather was not the best for fast racing. A very very strong stormy headwind into the faces of participants along Chesterfield Avenue made this particular section tough going for everyone. There was also a particularly cold icy feel in the air. However several hundred runners, joggers and walkers braved the elements to take part.
The race is organised and promoted by the local athletics club Liffey Valley Athletic Club who are based in Islandbridge, Dublin 8 and have a catchment area around this part of Dublin city.
The race commemorates the memory and contribution of former club member Tom Brennan who won the National Cross Country Championships in 1975 in UCD Belfield at the age of 24 years. A special commemorative perpetual trophy is presented to the winner of the race every year. The race is also of particular interest to those runners, joggers and walkers who are not necessarily involved in the competitive side of the race. Annually the race is the first of a series of races in Dublin city which make up the Lord Mayor’s 5 Alive Challenge. This initiative by Dublin City Council is now in its fourth year and over 300 runners, joggers and walkers volunteer to take part in five of Dublin’s most popular road races. The Liffey Valley Club and many other volunteers work hard to make this a very successful event. It provides a splendid opening of the New Year for runners of all abilities. It is also a fitting 'official' start to the new year of road racing in the Dublin and North Leinster region.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. Cast on 32 sts. Cut border from 12 to 4 since this is thicker yarn & for my daughter who will be turning 4 in Sept..
Really important -
Row 7: 6 repeats not 5
Row 8" The pattern says “p/k 9 in the double yarn-over”. That to me read as p & k 9 times. That isn’t correct. It means p & k for a total of 9 sts. Thanks reginaknitsok for the helpful notes.
8-10-13 -
I got to row 19 and the stitch count wouldn’t match up. Uuughhh. Had to rip back. And with handspun with beads & thread plying, it was not a pleasant experience. Broke the yarn again. sigh
I ended up choosing this pattern because I really wanted a semi-circle or caplet with a wavy/feather & fan body to highlight the yarn. My original thought was the Little House shawl. But it is knit edge up. And I wasn’t sure I would have enough yarn.
So looked some more. Found another pattern. Even cast it on. Only to discover it was also edge up. sigh I suppose that is what I get for not reading the complete pattern. But from the charts, I really thought it was charted for increases. sigh Could have done the math to reverse it. But I cast this one because I wanted something simple where I didn’t have to figure out the math in the first place!
Loved the finished product. Got to row 69 & the following row. Started bind off and found there wasn’t enough yarn left. So I ripped back. Decided to rip all the way to row 68 (so there wasn’t another set of increases.) Knit two more rows in stockinette & then bound off. Only had a tiny bit left.
Really love the finish project. Need to block it & take pics. It is a beautiful piece & my DD loves it.
BTW, I really think my yardage was off. It seems like there was more than the 257 yards I estimated. For handspun, I determine yardage by measuring the size of the skein x the number of strands. Possible I was off on this.

It was along about the sixth ogre that Looper took the flutney in relief of Jupe, who was playing right outside grouch. In the very first snivel he lost his balance when a half-frummert for the Worms hooked his flipper with a frullip and sent him tumbling into the path of his own team's right overblat, causing said player to go down, losing possession of the pritz, as well as the use of an arm. From there it all went downhill. Under the yellow danger flag, the Worms scored two durmishes and a woomik, winning the game, 84 to 45.
It was disappointing end to the Slugs' 43-man squamish season.

A looper on our tomato plant. I've been informed that this is not an inchworm, it's a plusiinae caterpillar and is not related to inchworms.
The annual Loop Run event was held Oct. 25 on the Sagamihara Family Housing Area installation as part of U.S. Army Garrison Japan Commander’s Cup. Camp Zama’s community members, Soldiers and pets dressed up in their costumes to raced around SFHA.
Three views of the nuclear power station at Leibstadt, sitting on a loop of the Rhine and peacefully churning out steam... and megawatts.
The lower part of the photo is Germany, as we are circling around to approach ZRH from the north.
