It's the rainy season. Here.
I was resting out of the rain under a bridge and saw this. A drain gushing drops. It looked like a rocket ship or welding sparks, I thought. It was sort of beautiful.

The theme for Macro Mondays next Monday is "Look up". the rule is the camera has to be pointed vertically upwards. I hope the Macro Mondays Police don't require absolute proof it was. I had been wondering what I could do for a while when I stepped outside to do a bit of gardening. And I spotted a few potted daisies and thought that if I could put the pot on the patio table I could get underneath it and back light it with the nice sunny blue sky we have today. Well I can't swear the camera was precisely pointed vertically upwards but I can swear that I got a crick in the neck. And the little flower was blowing about in the wind too, so when that minute fly thing wandered along a petal I didn't bother trying any more. And then when I checked the image ona larger screen I saw the ugly bug hiding under there too. So that's my slapdash macro effort for the week. Now let me put my normal lens back on.
( I wish I had chopped up the plant on the right and just had blue sky there but I've finished with shooting up and will move on to something more conventional without having another go)
