Year number 3 comes to a close.

In a lot of ways, 2011 was the worst year of my life. Since I had convinced myself after a bad 2010 that 2011 would be better, I'm making no such claims for 2012. Instead, I'm just moving forward, and hoping that joy far outweighs sorrow in the coming year.

In exploring a metaphor to photograph, I began to notice that one theme seemed to stand out in many of the images I viewed for inspiration, that being the theme of Love.

The family unit is timeless, and family photographs have existed since images have been produced. In keeping with the timeless theme, they are being presenting as a black and white set.
