The first farm we encountered on our road back to civilization was more genial but appeared un-farmed. Knowing that we were not about to stop, i snapped a frame on the move. As i twisted back to see the view from another angle, i was utterly surprised when Ash hit the breaks and exclaimed, "I don't believe it. That is far-out! Get a picture, Farmfield. Quick." "Of what?," i wondered. "Of THAT!" she emphasized, pointing me in the right direction. "Far Out, indeed!" i concurred.

From Double Island Point towards Noosa. I estimate it is about 70km to Noosa Heads, the next rocky promontory south that punctuates the long sandy shore of this part of the coast. We drove from Noosa to here with the Great Beach Drive 4WD Tours (and back).

The land is in the Great Sandy National Park.

Deceptively remote church actually only a mile or two from the edge of Ipswich. Redundant, in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. Open daily before covid, open daily now. Indeed, the visitors book suggested that the church had been left open throughout lockdown. Thinking about it, the visitors book hadn't been removed, as I believe the safety advice suggested it should. Well done Washbrook!

Chappel Fork in McKean County PA. I do lots of hiking up watersheds in the Allegheny National Forest to look for the hemlock woolly adelgid. I haven't seen it this year in the ANF. The cold winter took an estimated 95% mortality rate on the HWA in the ANF region. This is good news... at least for this year
