I was told recently that if you think you're taking a great shot, when you've got it look behind you. I was taking rather an ordinary shot really and when I turned round there was this beautiful stone farmhouse billowing clouds of smoke out the chimney, framed by gorgeous trees with shafts of sunlight coming down through the branches. It was SO much more beautiful than I've managed to capture here - a really heart-tugging idyllic rural scene. I looked and snapped for ages.
I'm not sure if I prefer to see the height of the trees, or the farmyard to the side giving it more context. You certainly get the billowing smoke better in the landscape one.
i'm kind of inspired to take a series of photos of strangers' dashboards from the outside. creepy? maybe so.

Camera used: Zenit 35F (not an SLR like most Zenits, but a point-and-shoot camera from the 80s)
Film used: Ilford Delta 100
Looking back it was a very wise decision to take my camera on a business trip. I assumed there would not be much time for sight-seeing (and I was right) but the one occassion I got it was marvellous to be able to shoot with more than the mobile phone.
Taken from the Seoul-Tower at 50 mm (only lens I had with me).
There are still some amazing details even though shot handheld at ISO 1600.
Shot from the Aria. Waited for the train to pass by those tracks, would've been cool but was too impatient.

Children have a special look, and when you take them a photo they look at you so intensely, that jou just can't stop shooting at hem :-)

I forgot to fill the birdhouses, so the cardinal was looking everywhere. Don't worry I fed him after I got this shot.
