We started work reweaving and pruning the willow cathedral. The weather forecast said "cloudy", but it turned out to be a very sunny day.
Hopefully I will remember to take an after picture.
Pancake and I had a blast playing in a dusting of snow this morning as she loves this cold weather. We had no problem navigating the many large snowplows out today in our Kentucky Blizzard. She did not see any squirrels or deer but as always, we saw the ducks. We did not see the Greylag goose out there but I'm sure he/she is around somewhere. We were grateul to be able to run around outside. We did see someone on the other side of the hill sledding with their toddler.
Now, yesterday, November 11, 2019 was a ldifferent story.
l. We were ordered to leave a BP Gas Market because "your service dog is not allowed in here". I offered to call the police but the lady behind the counter declined my invitation. We were low on gas. Reminder to self: Don't go back to that BP station (Shelbyville & Moser Road, Louisville, KY) without a copy of the laws in hand.
2. A Speedway employee so graciously asked "Do you know it's Veteran's Day?" Do you know our co-worker here is a Veteran?" I did not know he was and thanked him for everything. I did not reply to the "Do you know it's Veteran's Day" question. I was grateful so many individuals asked me that question yesterday. I also thanked them for the *privilege* of being *allowed* into their facility with my service dog to get crackers.
What I did not know was that there is caffeine-free Sprite that is diet (without the sugar). I erroneously bought regular Sprite which contains sugar and now I guess neeed to find someone to donate this sugared Sprite to. Sometimes we spend a little extra money in order to avoid Krogers, Meijer's or Walmart on most days. Hopefully I will be able to get off Coca-Cola and soda all together one day. We're doing the step-down method . So now we try tp avoid the sugar (and salt - "the new soda") and pretty much everything to be proactive with the hydrocephalus. Pancake does enjoy her jaunts in the park.

Hydrocephalus::Hydrocephalus is the buildup of too much cerebrospinal fluid in the brain. Normally, this fluid cushions your brain. When you have too much, though, it puts harmful pressure on your brain.
Hydrocephalus can be congenital, or present at birth. Causes include genetic problems and problems with how the fetus develops. An unusually large head is the main sign of congenital hydrocephalus.
Hydrocephalus can also happen after birth. This is called acquired hydrocephalus. It can occur at any age. Causes can include head injuries, strokes, infections, tumors, and bleeding in the brain. Symptoms include
Headache
Vomiting and nausea
Blurry vision
Balance problems
Bladder control problems
Thinking and memory problems
Hydrocephalus can permanently damage the brain, causing problems with physical and mental development. If untreated, it is usually fatal. With treatment, many people lead normal lives with few limitations. Treatment usually involves surgery to insert a shunt. A shunt is a flexible but sturdy plastic tube. The shunt moves the cerebrospinal fluid to another area of the body where it can be absorbed. Medicine and rehabilitation therapy can also help.

A shopping trolley made it to the roof of the Oak Barn on Longrun meadow. It was gone by Monday morning.
Starlings diving for their evening roost in the reeds at Roughmoor (near Taunton in Somerset). You may need to zoom-in to see them.
Not a massive flock, but then it's not a massive lake or reedbed. Lovely to see though, especially when they went into full murmuration mode as a sparrowhawk(?) tried its luck with them a few minutes earlier.

The story of David, I went to the park this morning for my daily "Me Time"
While there I walked around looking for something to shoot as usual but the 100 strangers project was on my mind also.
I said hello to a woman walking but hadn't built up courage to ask her for her portrait.
I also saw another woman with two Rotweilers, I've seen her before though and her big A** dogs aaaah that's a no don't approach, lol.
I passed by David laying there on the metal bleachers but didn't know what to say.
So I strolled along and stopped by the creek, told myself if he's still there when I get to that side I'd say excuse me!
Hello my name is Tonya & I'm a photographer saw you there resting comfortably and was wondering if you would allow me to take your portrait for my project.
He immediately said yes, what a surprise.
Glad I picked him too, he has great eyes & what a Q-tee.
He told me his name was David, I accidentally called him Justin, don't know why? Nerves I guess.
We exchanged emails so he could view his pictures and he asked me why was I doing the project???
I RESPONDED THAT IT ALLOWS ME TO GET TO KNOW PEOPLE & LEARN HOW TO INTERACT WHICH WOULD IN THE LONGRUN MAKE ME A BETTER PHOTOGRAPHER.
I thanked him, he went back to resting & I went home excited and happy.

My new runningshoes for this winter Icebug DTS - Jag valde att vara helt rationell och logisk i det hÀr valet dÄ jag ville byta bort mina Asics Fujisetsu. LÀste pÄ om dessa men hÄller inte med om att de skulle kÀnnas hÄrda, snarare tvÀrtom, fötterna Àr skönt ombonade. De Àr dessutom Àr 30 gram lÀttare Àn mina Asics vilket inte gör saken sÀmre, de hÀr springer jag bÄde snabbare och skönare i. 14 mm drop?!? Ja, det ger lite av en kÀnsla av att konstant stÄ i startblocket, van med 9 mm frÄn mina Kayano20 men uppenbarligen funkar det ju bra för mig. PÄ lÄngkastrullen :-P idag blev det 22 km @ 5.16 min i -10 grader och dÀr funkade de pÄ alltifrÄn bar asfalt till is och snötÀckta stigar. Garmin knew before me, shortest longrun ever - NĂ€r coachen redan efter 2 km visade rött och lĂ€t mig veta att jag hade ett dĂ„ligt Ă„terhĂ€mtningstempo började jag ana. 29 grader pĂ„ termometern nĂ€r jag stack hemifrĂ„n med ett ganska krĂ€vande backpass dagen innan. Vid fjĂ€rde km stannade jag, drack allt vatten jag hade med mig och vĂ€nde tillbaka, promenerandes.
