Sunrise @ Vista House (towards pdx)
So last night I couldn't sleep at all, not sure why just didn't want to / didn't need to whatever. So this morning I needed to take a break from my computer, my tv, my apt, basically my life. So I left, got in my car and drove at 6 am. I shoot up to Vista House at Crown Point (Corbett, Oregon) and left around 10:00 ish. In this time I walked around the Vista House, took photos of the area as the sun came up and read a book I started last year about this time and finished it today. It was a great break from the computer and also the whole notion of designing constantly. One of the things I wanted to share was this passage:

Paula Scher created the logo for citi bank and even though it was a long haul for them to buy her design it became a well know logo around the east cost.

This is the book I was reading! I am glad I finished it. I now have about a billion other books I want to read but no time to do so.
