Well, I feel I might have gotten carried away with this. But, this was a lot of fun to build. Working on a larger scale than normal was a bit interesting, but it opened up a lot of new possibilities. I built all the windows in sideways, and I'm surprised at how well they fit. I managed to get that old light bar in there also, so the interior does light up, sweet.

One detail that is...incorrect, is the Shell logo. The logo I used on the pumps is most commonly seen in the 70's, while an old time badge from say, the 30's, looks much different, more like the one on the gas can next to the bench.

The "new" Chermayeff & Geismar Mobil logo, designed to accompany the new station design by Eliot Noyes, was introduced in the UK in 1966, so these engine oil-change stickers and tags date from either side of that date, with the older pentagonal logo (with Pegasus) on the bottom row and the newer logo on the row above. I'm assuming these are UK stickers (based on the "pints of oil" text — I feel like the US would probably have used quarts in this context), but perhaps the same design was used elsewhere too.
