I drew many different lockups with this new logo concept in mind. They are drawn using a brush tip pen. This is the version that I settled on. After scanning it in and cleaning it up I made some kerning adjustments. To get this effect I traced around my handwritten letters using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. "at One Loudoun" is set in Nevis.

My second logo concept still uses neon colors but only one at a time. Again, this logo was never intended to be printed so I had free reign over the color palette. This concept takes a Chinese paper lantern and replaces the globe with the actual Earth. Lightup Fest wanted to light up the entire world! The script font is Alisha. The sans serif font is AntiqueOliNorD.
Logo concepts for Lightup Fest plus some bonus concepts for the Green Smart Cities project. Lightup Fest was a winter light show that setup in Loudoun County from November through February. The light show celebrated Chinese culture and had many larger than life light displays and scheduled performers.
