U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers with the 728th Quartermaster Company, Fremont, Neb., operate a pump on the Inland Pipeline Distribution System during QLLEX 2017, July 21, at Fort Bragg, NC. QLLEX, short for Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise, is the U.S. Army Reserve’s premier readiness exercise for fuel and water distribution. This year’s QLLEX is not only a full demonstration of the capability, combat-readiness, and lethality of America’s Army Reserve to put fuel and water where it is needed most – in the vehicles and hands of the war-fighter and maneuver units – but it also further exercises the interoperability of the U.S. Army Reserve alongside active Army and British Army logisticians. Let there be light 1 ... (and let there be a lovely 50mm lens too!!)

Well the day started early (6am)

Drove to work and it was getting light - but beautiful, beautiful moon was still there just low on the horizon. But there was cloud as well so I only saw it a couple of times and before I could stop to try to take a picture if it.

Busy day again - lots of chopping and changing of our January plans - it's like a jigsaw trying to fit in all the requirements into one month. Hoping to get some confimations tomorrow so we can actually get organising the details and delivering what is needed.

Managed to leave on time :-)

Nice long chat with Mummy on the way home and then dinner with Wayne. Started trying to sort Christmas logisitics too - it's like being back at work again!!!

Moon beautiful on way home again - all moody with the clouds - is it the full moon? I have lost track slightly! (Note on 3rd Dec - it was the full moon!)

Today's picture taken using the light from an angle poise lamp.
