TT201, TT202 and TT203, 3 of 6 of Pacific National's recently acquired GT46C-ACE II locomotives from Qube Logisitics, are seen on their first revenue train with PN, hauling MR352 loaded coal from Moolarben to Kooragang near the locality of Wollar.

This train would not be a success however and would go on to fail at Kerrabee, and did not move again until night time after two rescue locos were sent from East Greta.

A Ferrocarril del Istmo de Tehuantepec (FIT) northbound freight is rolling through Mérida's Ciudad Industrial, where most of the railroad's Mérida trafic originates. A number a industries are located here, including a massive CEMEX cement plant and this delightfully modelable hopper-to-truck transload terminal. I also believe the coiled steel wire lying on the ground came out of gondolas. FIT rents a number of former BC Rail B39-8E's from PQ Logistics, but 3904 has been kept the most original. Crews on FIT are made of 4 crew members: 1 maquinista (engineer), 1 jefe de tren (conductor) and 2 garroteros (brakemen). Consist : BOTX 3904, BOTX 1883.

Malcolm Logisitics liveried 90024 is dragged in to Arpley Sidings by Arriva liveried 67003. Both locos are owned by DB Cargo (UK) and have received special liveries to cement ties with DB's customers. In the case of 90024, the Malcolm livery represents the intermodal traffic operated by DB between Scotland and Daventry for Malcolm. 67003 is one of 3 Class 67's to receive unbranded Arriva Turquoise for the WAG loco hauled turns. 67003 rarely operates these trains, a reported issue its ETS cited for this. 90024 is freshly off a C Exam at Crewe IEMD.

Puzzleium is a very rare metal that is liquid at extreme pressures. It is the only way it can be transported otherwise it crystalizes in place and becomes very fragile.

It's properties in itself aren't great but coupled with other metals, it becomes extremely efficient for structure and armor plating manufacturing with reduced weight.

But to be transported it needs to remain in its liquid form. So consider this machine as a mobile, giant pressure cooker.

This was a lot of fun to build too!

DON JUAN.

Don Juan (aka Don Giovanni) is a name that is generally associated with legendary but fictional name given to the Spanish libertine who has dedicated his life to seducing women.

Unlike its namesake Don Juan is also the name of the Wallenius Lines Operator Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics owned and operated PCTC (Pure Car Truck Carrier) which berthed at Port Kembla on 31 December 2023.

Built in 1995 built at the Daewoo Heavy Industry Ltd, Okpo, Korea and meeting the highest class of Lloyd’s Register of Shipping standards DON JUAN has a capacity of 5,846 cars or a combination of 2,959 cars and 485 trucks the vessel currently sails under the Singapore flag.

Whilst the fictional Don Juan was famous for seducing women the Norwegian owned and operated Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logisitics corporation certainly seduce their crew by offering a mess room, TV room, library, gymnasium all of which is complemented by an outdoor swimming pool and a sauna.

Located on the upper and bridge deck is the accommodation section which offers a sanctuary some distance from the noise emanating from the engine room.

For the purists the Don Juan has an overall length of 199.10 m beam, with the upper deck reaching to a height of 32.98 m and a dead weight at maximum draft of 22,514 MT Gross Tonnage with a Net Tonnage of 23,033.

At anchor not far from DON JUAN is the Bahamian registered bulk carrier MAREEBA which was built in 2002 which has a carrying capacity of 46673 t and has an overall length of 183.04 metres.

When last sighted Don Juan and Mareeba were off the coast at Wollongong and their current positions are unknown.

Today, 11th November, 2014, I visited 'Blood Swept Land and Seas of Red' at the Tower of London. The final ceramic poppy was 'planted'. Volunteers have spent months installing 888,246 hand-made poppies - each representing a British and Commonwealth soldier who died during WW1. The WW1 Remembrance artwork was designed by ceramic artist Paul Cummins and theatre designer Tom Piper. Volunteers enabled its creation, and many people behind the scenes organised the logisitics of both creation and visiting. It is thought about five million people have visited and shown their respects. Many more will have viewed from afar.

Since I'd spent hours tiling all of my base plates, I decided to start cracking on a futuristic microscale patrol base/outpost airfield type thing.

This is borrowing bits from Aliens and Space Above & Beyond, with a bit of "Hells Gate" from Avatar thrown in.

It's rather compact at the moment, but this is just the "Advanced Habitation/Installation Team"

Buildings include:

Operations/Flight control centre.

Maintenance Hangar

Fusion reactor & cooling tower

Long Range Radio/Lidar mast

Radar mast

Sewage/water treatment/recycling plant.

2 enlisted quarters buildings

1 officers quarters building

2 recreation centres (including bowling)

12 perimeter defence towers

2 main security towers

Some storage containers and bits and bobs.

Underground bunker/bomb dump with ground level access building.

Air/Space craft:

6 SA-43 Hammerhead fighters (176th Sqn)

4 ISSAPC troop/cargo transports

1 UD4-L Dropship

The Runway, if using the scale of the Hammerhead (9ish studs long) being 11.5m is 342 feet, ideal for V/STOL aircraft.

Vehicles:

1 towing vehicle

1 cargo logisitics truck

3 M577 APC's.

This has been fun so far, it's quite cluttered so I don't suppose I can go much further with it without more baseplates and bloody tiles...

This sort of outpost would be designed for local protection of off-world colonial assets, and would be based right along side any valuable installations.
