This 4.5-star, award-winning property is located opposite Olinda Village, at the top of the Dandenong Ranges.
My colleague Neil owns a loft in a building that was built in 1880 and served most of its life as a factory/warehouse.
He graciously allowed me to practice interior photography. I will be posting more later.

The word covet seems to become more familiar to me as I download these shots.

On Saturday morning I ventured out for sunrise, even though the forecast wasn’t that great. I’ve not been to The Net Loft in Polperro for a while so I thought I’d give it another try, this time opting for some long exposures to smooth the water and clouds out to keep the emphasis on the building itself. We did get a small showing of colour but not too much, and in the end I preferred this shot from after the colour had faded anyway.
I thought about doing some crazy things to this shot.....and then I decided, that I like it just the way it is...
I want to live in a loft.....
Something about those windows....and just a 'whisper' of melon....:)
This area is a "place holder"... It wasn't planned into the decor, but I am awaiting a counter height bar/table set to create a dining area in this spot. In the meantime, I created this little sitting area to fill in...

Those who read and answered my question yesterday showed that most of you prefer black and white when it comes to a portrait.
