The Lockheed D-21B, a Cold War-era unmanned reconnaissance drone, had a modest profile. Measuring 43 feet in length with a 19-foot wingspan, it achieved speeds up to Mach 3.3 at altitudes of 95,000 feet. Primarily designed for surveillance, it housed standard intelligence-gathering equipment for its time.
Correction: This one has also been scrapped...and replaced by C-141C 65-0248 as mentioned by Rob Finch in the comments below.
The Convair R3Y Tradewind was the only turboprop-powered flying boat to enter U.S. Navy service. Designed as a replacement for the Martin JRM Mars transport, five R3Y-1 and six R3Y-2 aircraft were built. First flight came on 25 February 1954 at San Diego, California. A year later, one Tradewind (Bureau Number 128448) was flown from San Diego to NAS Patuxent River, Maryland, in the record time of six hours at an average speed of 403 mph, a world record for seaplanes that is believed to still stand. Seven Tradewinds were delivered to Naval Air Transport Squadron 2 (VR-2) at NAS Alameda, California. Three R3Y-2s and an R3Y-1 were later converted to four-point aerial tankers. In September 1956, the crew of this R3Y-2 carried out the first-ever simultaneous refueling of four aircraft, F9F-8 Cougar fighters from VF-111 at NAS North Island, California. After two non-fatal accidents involving the complex propulsion system with its contra-rotating propellers, the Tradewinds were grounded in 1958 and eventually scrapped. lockheedmartin.com/codeone

The above image is a scan from an original Kodachrome™ slide. The default size is 2000 x 1250 pixels, so clicking on the photo will enlarge it for better viewing.
The original image comes from my slide collection, amassed over the past 40+ years. They are a combination of my own photographs and ones acquired through trades or purchases.
I created this Photostream in 2017 for the purpose of holding my slide collection as an archive, as otherwise they would just remain in binders and boxes, not being enjoyed by anyone, myself included.

No reconnaissance aircraft in history has operated globally in more hostile airspace or with such complete impunity than the SR-71, the world's fastest jet-propelled aircraft. The Blackbird's performance and operational achievements placed it at the pinnacle of aviation technology developments during the Cold War.
This Blackbird accrued about 2,800 hours of flight time during 24 years of active service with the U.S. Air Force. On its last flight, March 6, 1990, Lt. Col. Ed Yielding and Lt. Col. Joseph Vida set a speed record by flying from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., in 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 20 seconds, averaging 3,418 kilometers (2,124 miles) per hour. At the flight's conclusion, they landed at Washington-Dulles International Airport and turned the airplane over to the Smithsonian. Lockheed Constellation 5T-TAF. Delivered new to TAP Portuguese airlines in 1955. In 1968 it was impounded in Malta where it was later converted to a restaurant near to the village of Kirkop in 1973. It was abandoned in 1988 and later was destroyed in a fire. When this picture was taken around 30 years back it was complete with all its engine and controls and I believe some parts were salvaged after the fire and kept in store.
