Taken with the Olympus XA4 camera which I previously used in week 131 of my 52 film cameras in 52 weeks project:

The film was home redscaled ISO200 Agfa Vista from Poundland, rated at ISO50 and developed in the Tetenal C41 kit.
Obviously I'm not in the closet. I can usually count on something new on my locker when I get back from vacations... "Help Wanted: meat wrapper", "Nutopolis", etc... all in fun, not harassment. They pretty much know my sense of humor.
123 / 365 - locks, a.k.a. some pretentions half-baked effort.
(as usual, a little larger on black)
We tucked kids in bed and watched "Equilibrium". The main reason I got this movie was this picture by Craig Sharp. The quote seemed "kool" enough and the synopsis wasn't that bad - a mix between Orwell and Bradbury. The film itself, though, is a low-level high-cost B-movie full of cliches, predictable as a 2 year old's morning diaper. This is what you get for letting the director direct his own screenplay. A self-contained one-dimensional cliche.
It has its moments, though. For once, it has Boromir without the beard.
The picture is taken in a locker room. But the lockers don't contain the stinky underwear. Rather they have mosical instruments and sheet music in them, because it's the Music Department lockers.
I got a few cool shots in my gym's locker room, purely in the interest of finding my morning photo. However, I quickly realized the nude, showering women might not be so understanding of my artsy photo project.

A friend took this using my camera because she had never seen such a nice locker room at a gym before.
A room of empty lockers might be the closest I will get to an abandoned school (for now). In high school I taped tons of stuff in my locker and wrote out band logos on the outside. For the record, AquaNet works great for taking marker off metal.
I didn't take my camera to last Sunday's game against the New York Jets because of rain. It was great to be on the good side of a blowout game but bad that our quarterback Jake Locker was injured. Sounds like it's not as serious as early thoughts were but will still have him out for a few weeks. He's playing well so I hope he gets back to normal soon.
Locker room has sides for guys and for gals, complete with changing rooms, toilets, privacy curtains (Duplo sleeping bags), and sinks with mirrors. Well, the girls get a sink. The guys have to pretend their empty file cabinet is really a place to wash their hands. (Though studies have recently show that guys don't often wash their hands after using the bathroom anyway!) There are tiled signs in the floor to let you know which side is for the guys and which for the gals. I wanted to put them somewhere else, but Madeleine insisted that they stay right there.
From the locker room of our high school,
to the walk in closet of your bedroom
your parents disapprove
oh loves too cool
and I'm just too damn smooth
I'm jumping off the roof of my room
I'd break both of my legs to get to you
I've warn out my welcome in their home
So I come when they're asleep, GO
Girl get dressed
I'll meet you at midnight
We're gonna share a dance
Under the streetlights
Ocean Lakes High School was the site picked for this year’s MaxPreps Top 25 high school football rankings photo shoot with the returning Virginia state champion Dolphins. Once there, the Red Weasel Media team focused on two locations, one being the Varsity lock room and the second one was the football field. Our goal was to capture the true essence of football while making the images creative. The coaching staff was amazing in making sure we had everything we needed to make the locker room look like an actively used space by filling the lockers with practice equipment. We chose to wait later in the afternoon to shoot the players on the football field because we wanted the images to have a more dramatic look. The dark sky in combination with the field lights and strobe lights created a very interesting result. The players were really excited and were competing between themselves to give us the best pose of the day which shows why they have a great level of success…they compete in everything they do. Go Dolphins!
We would like to thank Coach Chris Scott and the Ocean Lakes football players Levonta Taylor, Khalan Laborn, Anthony Womack, Eric Crobsy, Tyler DeSue, Tajh Capehart, Justin Smith, and Noah Knapp for their amazing job and good luck on their upcoming football season.
