1930's utilitarian design, enhanced by painting everything white. I like it a lot.

Thousands of wires handle our lives, every wire fills with electrons that travels thousands of miles in the blink of an eye.
Tom from Kino Flo stopped by to show our cinematography class some awesome fluorescent lights for film. I've recently become fascinated by multi-layered shadows, especially colored ones.
Justin Cefai holds it down a technical street skating staple: the switch crooks. Add a longish exposure at night time and it feels like the 90's (when i first started looking at skate magazines) all over again.
With the economy being as bad as it is, I find it hard to believe someone would waste beer like this. Even if it is cheap beer.

During the hustle and bustle of business hours many traveled, some to do paperwork, to socialize, get to the next job, but possibility a few stopped and looked out the windows of this skywalk to think. So many trucks arriving and departing, some traveled hundreds of miles. What was seen and what was experienced?
Sitting on the loading dock of the Aud. There are people inside working on ascertaining how to properly deal with the mold and asbestos during demolition, and also working on stripping it for memorabilia auctions. Anything at all padded, like this couch, is unsalvageable due to the mold issue.

Nothing fancy at all about the architecture; this building was originally part of the warehouse district just west of the Frisco (now BNSF) tracks, but just east of the now-gone M-K-T. That's part of why I like these old warehouses, though; nothing Gothic, nothing Art Deco, just purely functional in design and purpose.
I can remember when I was a child how the downtown streets were continuously criss-crossed with sidings going to the various warehouses. All of those are gone now.

Left side edited, right side original. High ISO on the original so not much color, a whole lot of noise, and poor resolution. I did my best to fix her up and I think it turned out alright!
