DC Rail Freight 56103 hauls Chiltern Railways DVT 82304 through Ealing Broadway, 5Q21 from 1238 Wembley Lmd to Bristol Barton Hill W.R.D.
The Chiltern DVT was being dragged to Barton Hill for maintenance / overhaul.
Chiltern Railways (DRS) 68011 waits to depart London Marylebone with the 5E16 0850 London Marylebone to Wembley Lmd ECS move with DVT 82304 at the rear.
Another attempt was made to get the perfect image of this working passing Lower Moor. Previously the rear of the train was lost to darkness when looking at the shot took of this working before. Today looked to be the perfect opportunity for a good result before squid set in.
The milky sky in the background suggests we were lucky to get a well lit shot of this!

On the back of an improving forecast (and health) I made the move to the Flintshire coast to record Colas 56049 'Robin of Templecombe' and Network Rail 97302 'Festiniog & Welsh Highland Railway' working 3S71 RHTT. Captured passing Oakenholt with the River Dee Estuary and the Wirral coastline as the backdrop.

The latest unit to undergo trials from Tyseley LMD is 196104. The train is slowly leaving the depot with 5Z22 the 10.38 Tyseley LMD to Tyseley LMD via Stratford-upon-Avon.
